What a great experience! I had scheduled a quick appointment and was checked in, put into a room, and my pup was taken care of. I liked the efficiency of the vet techs, the vets, and the receptionists. As a former vet assistant, I know all too well the struggles of being short staffed and experiencing difficult clients and/or patients. I really appreciated the positivity from everyone!

(Don't get this wrong this is a ONE star review, not trying to get my review deleted) i brought my 8 week year old kitten in about a week ago due to him not walking correctly. when i brought him in they told me he was okay, he looked healthy, and that he just had some neck pain. they gave me medication to give him and told me if things got worse we could do some x-rays within 2 weeks, just for money saver. took him home, he was perfectly fine and sleeping a lot because of the meds. about 2 days later i woke up to him having a seizure. i called Broadway right away because i was worried it had something to do with the medicine, because we hadn't given him anything else prior. they put me on hold and then told me they can't take a him in. i then had to drive across town to a recommended hospital, luckily they was able to take me in. When i got there and they took him they proceeded to tell me he was extremely sick, but couldn't give me a reason why without having to pay 5,000 for exams. It was extremely shocking because Broadway assured me he was completely fine not even a 4 days before. so how did he get so sick so fast? they then proceed to tell me that we could spend as much money as we wanted but the chances of him surviving was extremely impossible, because his seizures kept worsening. we then had to make the difficult decision and put him down. I am completely heartbroken, and at lost for words. we still have no idea what the exact cause was to his sudden sickness, but i wish we knew BEFORE when we first came in that there was something wrong. i'm still convinced it was the medicine. go anywhere else for a exam.

I was a client at this veterinary hospital for over 30 years. My parents brought my childhood dog here, and as an adult I brought my own dog here. When Dr. Nabil Ibrahim owned the practice, I always felt my dog was cared for by someone who genuinely loved animals. Unfortunately, after the ownership changed in 2021, my experience changed.
At nearly every appointment, I felt pressured to approve numerous tests and services. What started as a routine visit often became an estimate several times higher than expected. I understand that diagnostics are important, but the way they were presented made me feel like the focus had shifted from individualized care to selling additional services.
The biggest concern was my dog's medical care.
The first incident occurred after he received rabies, leptospirosis, and parvo vaccines during the same visit. He developed a severe reaction with swollen, red paws and a swollen muzzle, requiring an emergency veterinary visit after hours. I notified the clinic the following day, yet I continued receiving reminders for his leptospirosis booster despite informing them about the reaction and my decision to avoid non-required vaccines.
Three years later, I returned only for his required rabies vaccine. Leptospirosis was offered again, and I declined. He was given rabies and parvo together, along with a preventive Benadryl injection. Once the Benadryl wore off, he experienced another vaccine reaction and again required emergency care. The emergency veterinarian told us that, given his history, future vaccines should be administered one at a time to help identify which vaccine was causing the reaction.
The final experience was what convinced me to leave the practice. I brought my dog in for loose stools. I was told his diet was inconsistent and was advised to switch him to a prescription hydrolyzed protein diet. I agreed to the diet trial and stool test, planning to pursue additional testing if needed.
Instead his stools progressed to severe watery diarrhea. When we returned for the follow-appointment, my husband waited outside for approximately 45 minutes in 100 degree weather with a brachycephalic dog. After reminding staff we were still waiting he was eventually brought inside but waited another 20 minutes before leaving without being seen.
Before we could see another veterinarian my dog became severely dehydrated and required emergency treatment. The emergency hospital preformed blood work, treated him with IV fluids, prescribed metronidazole and Hills Biome diet. Thankfully he has been steadily improving on that treatment.
I understand that medicine is not always straightforward, and not every treatment works for every patient. However, I believe communication, follow-up and individualized care are just as important as diagnostics. Unfortunately after these three experiences, I no longer feel that this practice is the right place for my dog.

Yelp
Scheduled puppy appointment for first shots a few weeks back, they cancelled my appointment after setting a deadline at 2pm. I called at 2:45 and asked why didn't you text me, they said I cancelled text messages back in January. Which I did cause they were spamming the heck out of my phone for unrelated marketing. Told them that I really needed to keep my appointment but said there was nothing they could do. Been going here since the old vet that was super affordable and then retired. These guys were way more than any other place and I expected to have great service but I guess not. Will not be going back

Update:
Dr. Tyler called me yesterday (about 3 weeks after the original post) and I found him to be very professional and informative. He took the time to listen to my experience, then explained both why our dog needed the teeth removed and the steps that Broadway Vet has and is taking to avoid situations like this in the future. I let him know I really appreciated the call and the time he took to explain things.
