Dr Katie and the BVC team has been amazing to us and our new puppy! Our sweet girl has had lots of tummy problems since coming home and the team has been so helpful, talking with us over the phone, emailing us after hours, and being fully understanding of all our questions and concerns. After speaking with friends, it’s clear to me that this vet office truly exceeds expectations and I’m really grateful that they make our puppy feel so safe and us feel validated in all our worries! Couldn’t recommend this clinic enough.

They really just are the best! They are so snuggly and sweet with your precious pets! If your animal (or you 😂) have anxiety - this is the best place to take them.

Pleasurable visit of Boston Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Maher. Also having Vittor Augusto was very comfortable because he could explain in detail everything going on with my dog in my own language (Portuguese). I wish all clinics have this experience as I had today. He make us feel welcomed, this makes such a big difference because our pets is like our children, we want to do everything for them and that’s what we had from his presence. Besides that speaking with a person that communicates in our native tongue makes us feel more connected, what a wonderful feeling makes us feel like we’re back home. We look forward to return again. Thank you to the whole staff and once again another thank you towards Vittor who made a big difference to us.

Team is wonderful and we've had a super positive experience with Dr. Williams and her team. Dr. Williams, Kim Allison and Lyndsey Holston have been really great to work with and so kind to us and out little pupper. Their kindness and follow-up have been fantastic.

My cat did a single bunny kick while getting blood drawn - she was pretty sedate from gabapentin - and the tech said they'd go get the Vet (Chelsea Ruzzo) because she was a little quicker and should be able to get it done. A different tech came back and said the vet wasn't going to do it, and insisted I come back with my cat fully dosed on gabapentin. I had mentioned she only ate half of the second dose. I understand that there are reasons why a cat should be sent back home for another try next time. But I don't know how a vet can tell that that's the case without looking at the cat, especially when the vet tech felt like she was going to be able to do it. A huge waste of everyone's time, a huge waste of my cat's stress, and extremely disrespectful for the vet to not come in and either assess my cat herself or explain to me why she wouldn't be drawing blood and I was going to have to come back into the city with her another time. There's no way it's impossible to draw blood from a woozy cat just because she kicked once. Burrito the dang cat and get it done, or at least explain to me why that isn't the right path in that moment. It felt to me like she just wanted to get out of there for the day. I was honestly in shock. Later that night I reflected on my previous vet experiences with my other cat. I was there with him when he was put down, and my vet at the time (not BVC) gave us a quiet space, and was so kind with us, and let us take our time saying goodbye to our lil family member. I'm going to be there any time a pet of mine needs to be put down at the end of their life, to make sure they're as comfortable as possible and so they know they're loved. The thought of doing that in this place where I was rushed through, disrespected, and I don't feel like my cat was properly taken care of brought me to tears. I cancelled the follow-up appointment and am moving vets.
