Disappointed to report that our second visit to Bond Vet was unpleasant. Exam room and table were both dirty when we entered. I brought my cat in for a chipped tooth and the vet, without asking me any questions about my cat's temperament or taking the time to get to know us, wrapped her aggressively in a towel to examine the tooth.
I understand that animal restraints protect both vets and animals. If the vet had taken the time to ask me about my cat's temperament, however, she would have learned that my cat allows vets to look inside her mouth with no problems if I am holding her. We actually did that today with a different vet- no biting or scratching. The vet displayed, in my opinion, a complete disregard for my pet's emotional welfare. And no, she is NOT "just an animal"; I would think a vet's office would be a little more concerned with treating their patients with care, gentleness, and respect.
I got very teary and anxious as a result of the ordeal and the vet acted as though I was being ridiculous for being upset. And, the exam ended up being a waste of money, because they couldn't give me a straight answer as to what needed to happen next.
I have reached out to Bond Vet several times to complain and have been offered no reply, apology, or remedy. I understand that vets have a difficult job and have to ensure their own safety. But there is a way to do it that still respects their patients and their patients' owners.
If anyone is looking for a vet, I would recommend Union Vet, who I went to today. They had to restrain my cat to get bloodwork, but warned me in advance and apologized throughout for how unpleasant the restraints were. It is literally as simple as displaying a little human decency, which Bond Vet appears to be lacking. Very disappointed and I cannot counsel avoiding Bond Vet enough.
If I could give it zero stars I would. An extremely unprofessional vet technician gave us completely disturbing advice for our puppy that had a broken paw. Unsolicited, the vet technician said to let them know if we want to put the dog down so that we didn't have to pay for his treatment because it can get expensive, he also offered to take our puppy because it might be hard for us to tell if he is in pain... very odd and unprofessional behavior. We went elsewhere and our puppy's paw was healed three weeks later. I wouldn't listen to their recommendations. They just want your money and don't care about your pet.

One of the most compassionate primary veterinarian care offices I've ever been to. From reception to the nurse, to the tech. It's an absolutely beautiful office. The DVM (Dr. Parry) was extremely kind, compassionate while being straightforward. Veterinary care has become so cold and corporatized lately, imo. This office was an absolute breath of fresh air. I recommend 10xs over. Thank you so much to the team for looking out for my fur baby that I love so much and I! We need more like you all! ❤️
I cannot say enough good things about our experience today. My dog is extremely anxious at the vet—every visit over the past four years has been stressful for both of us—so I walk in bracing for the worst. Today was completely different. Honestly, it felt like a dream.
From the moment we arrived, the team was so intentional about creating a calm, supportive environment. Lead nurse Zephyr was incredible—so patient, gentle, and intuitive. He took the time to read my dog’s cues, move at her pace, and make her feel safe. You could tell he truly cares and has a gift for working with anxious animals.
Dr. Devine was equally amazing—kind, reassuring, and incredibly thorough while still being mindful of my dog’s stress level. Nothing felt rushed, and every step was explained in a way that made me feel completely at ease.
For the first time ever, my dog wasn’t panicked the entire visit—and that is saying everything. It was hands down the best veterinary experience we’ve had in four years.
I’m so grateful to have found a team that not only provides excellent care but truly understands how to handle anxious pets with compassion and skill. Thank you for turning what is usually a stressful ordeal into such a positive experience. We will absolutely be back 🤍
