Blue Cross Animal Clinic

I have been working with Dr Hamel on two different very sick pups over the last few months. She is the ONLY vet that has worked to help my Hercules. I had spent a lot of money with no solutions or answers with other vets and she was able to diagnose and get him on a workable treatment and save his life. She did the same with my little Daisy that was dumped in front of my car with so many skin issues that you couldn’t touch her and Dr Hamel is guiding her recovery as well. Not only that but she is reasonable, the staff are just amazing and I’m being completely candid here. I’m blessed to have them as my team for my pups.

The facility is well maintained, clean and beautiful. 🤩 They work so hard to serve the pets and family members of the community!

Don't put your dog down here unless things are better. We put our dog down at blue cross animal clinic almost three years ago, and I still have nightmares about it. They led us to a good sized room that had a tiny throw rug that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, and brought the dog in and put him on it. They had completely paralyzed him and didn't even give him any happy drugs. Then they had problems with the final drug. The only thing he could do was move his eyes and look straight into my eyes to let me know how he felt. I have to live with that memory. It comes back to me every time I think about him. Thus, why I finally decided I needed to write this review.

Exceptional, compassionate service and knowledge. Following my dog’s spinal injury, the front desk staff was accommodating - working with urgency and communicating appointment availability. The doc and tech worked with gentle hands and great care, explaining every step of their examination. I was given actionable recommendations to continue my dog’s care in the weeks ahead. Timely, competent, communicative, and caring.

Incredibly helpful and kind staff. We have worked with a lot of vets over the years, and this is the best one by far. They can actually get your pup seen for acute concerns! They communicate! We feel so lucky to have found this practice. Huge thank you to the team that helped me get a last minute refill of our dogs medication this morning. They were kind and lovely - i so appreciate you!
