I am very disappointed with my experience! Would not recommend at all! I drove over a hour to have my dogs entropion corrected as it was bothering him. Instead, my dog's eye surgery was overcorrected, creating a new problem that now that will eventually need another surgery probably sooner than later. Instead of taking responsibility and trying to blame his “complications” after surgery aka I emailed them shortly after stating it looked like it was pulled down to far but was re assured it was fine- that’s was his only “complication”. After waiting until healed like they stated, his eye remained the same- it wasn’t due to swelling or still healing. I had called & emailed wanting to redo the surgery to correct this since it was essentially their fault- and was only offered a discount. I understand that complications can happen, but I expected better care, accountability, and support for my dog based off the initial visit where he seemed quite confident in fixing it. Unfortunately, this experience has been terrible, & I will never recommend this clinic based on how our situation was handled. Also, the staff was rude and not friendly.

beach pet hospital has always taken amazing care of our animals. we unfortunately had to put one of our dogs down recently, unexpectedly and are so grateful to Dr. Upchurch and her team for their care, compassion and kindness. truly a special place with caring people <3

We were clients of this vet office because our dogs have always seen a specific vet. He recently switched practices, and he is no longer with Beach Pet Hospital. When it was time to schedule my dog's yearly appointment, the front desk told me that my vet had "retired". It sounded fishy...because he isn't that old. So, I did a simple Google search and found out that he hadn't retired...he just switched practices. I called them back to confirm that this vet had indeed retired, and the front desk staff did not relent--they still told me he retired. Needless to say, I asked for our records to be sent over to my vet's new practice. Why lie to people? I understand there are non-compete clauses, but why not just tell your customers that he is just no longer with the practice? No one likes a liar. We only went to Beach Pet Hospital because of this vet. In our time there, the staff was fine. Most of the vet techs were nice. I only had a couple of interactions with other vets there. Once, I had to take my dog in for an emergency. My regular vet was off that day. The vet that saw him had to deliver bad news to me. She was a little cold and not very compassionate. She didn't offer us really any options for care, and questioned me a lot on why I didn't notice this problem sooner. I ended up taking my dog home to think things through. I was devastated. Thankfully my regular vet called me the next day, and we discussed some options and developed a plan of care that I could feel good about. I rate this practice a 3 because it is just "ok".... and they lied to me about where my vet went. Outside of my regular vet, I didn't find it that spectacular.

I’ve been taking my furbabies here for years, even lost one there. They walked me today with a puppy and a broken foot they had improperly mended by binding all this hair on his arm into tape. This was after I called in a panic because my little baby was screaming after his hair being pulled by the tape. We had to cut the tape off his hair while he cried. They didn’t like what I had to say when I called and walked us. Apparently it’s easier to blame the customer for their reaction than take responsibility for making a mistake. I have three animals and one with diabetes. It was all we could do to get them to fill the insulin. They care more about their feelings than they ever will about your pet. Rudest bunch of spoiled brats I have witnesses in some time. Avoid at all costs.

The most condescending and dismissive staff I have ever seen. Today the head karen kicked us out today for the way we spoke to them over a sling that bound up all our little guy's hair with tape. So now he's stuck in their substandard work until we find another vet. I should've never came back after one of the female vets huffed at me 10 seconds after having to put my cat down for whatever reason I annoyed her. Worst sadists are in this business, BEWARE
