I don't write many reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. My beloved dog was about 12 years old, and for the last four years after I moved back home, this is where he was always seen. They have always been honest, compassionate, and straightforward with their recommendations. They never tried to pressure me into anything unnecessary, and they were always accommodating when discussing estimates and treatment options. Every member of the staff has been incredibly kind to us. No matter how busy they were, they always made us feel seen and cared for. A few days ago, I had to bring my sweet boy in for the hardest goodbye of my life. He crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by love. Forgive me for not remembering her name, but the veterinarian who cared for him--the same one he had seen all these years--showed us such incredible compassion and kindness during one of the most painful moments of our lives. They even lit a candle at the front of the office to let other clients know a family was saying goodbye to a beloved pet, creating such a peaceful and respectful atmosphere. It was a small gesture that meant more than I can put into words. I also have another pet, and thankfully she's wonderfully healthy. Whenever she needs veterinary care, I bring her here without hesitation. In my experience, this clinic has always been affordable, and when costs were a concern, they took the time to discuss options and help find what was best for both me and my pet. I had to say goodbye to a piece of my heart, but I will always be grateful this team was there to help us through it with such dignity, kindness, and compassion. When my heart is ready to love another dog again, this will, without question, be their veterinarian.
I went to the hospital with my friend after he dog was attacked and needed life saving surgeries. The cost was significantly less than the other hospital for this reason I called to ask about having a dental procedure done for my dog. When I called they would not give me any information on cost, only that I need to do a $95 new pet visit before getting a quote. I looked at their website and they have no prices listed for any medical related treatments. The lack of transparency is turn off. I will just take my dog to their current vet. Maybe they are so busy they do not need to take new patients? Is this normal for vets not to list costs of procedures like dental work, vaccines, etc?
We were referred to B Street Vet by our dear friend Billy D and we couldn't be more thankful, our little 14 year old Pug Miyoko had a herniated disk and it was causing her great pain & discomfort, B Street Vet were the most compassionate vet we've experienced over the passed 24 years of being pet owners. They helped her get through the night but unfortunately she took a turn for the worst and we had to say goodbye to her yesterday. Thank you for all your compassion & care and treating our little girl as the sentient being she deserves and not a financial opportunity at the expense of grieving pet owners.
Read on Googlewent here on a sunday because i looked up affordable emergency vet after my dog ate some trash and couldn’t keep anything down. this was the closest one open with great reviews. all the reception people were so nice it felt so welcoming and comfortable. super easy process as a first time customer. the wait was obviously long but can be expected with any emergency vet especially on a weekend. they were super informative and upfront about pricing, i’ve never been to an emergency vet before so i can’t speak on how accurate the affordability is. my pup seemed super comfortable after, for sure recommend and might just make this my regular vet myself :)
