Read on GoogleI have been with AMC for the majority of my 33 years. They have been with me on my very worst and best days. The medical care that my animals get from them has always been best, with timely diagnosis as well as anything else we needed. These doctors truely care about your animal and you can trust that they will do everything in their power to help! They simply are the best of the best!
Read on GoogleNo idea what their care is like, because I never got in for an appointment. I DID however have to pay an advanced deposit for each dog (I have two) towards a future appointment (set for two months later which was the soonest they could get me in). No one told me it was non-refundable. When my dog needed care prior to that two month appointment, I secured another vet and am now using them. So, I attempted to get my deposit transferred to my daughter's account who still goes there, and they said since it was non-refundable, as a courtesy they would credit her 1/2 of my deposit, but I had to forfeit the other half. I have NEVER had to pay a deposit beforehand with any other vet (I've used several in the area over 30 years). But I agreed to do it because I had good reviews about them, my daughters both use them, so I thought it would be no harm done since it would apply to my ultimate appointment. But now I see they are keeping my deposit I guess for profit since they provided NO service to me. I DID cancel my appointment in advance, but they don't feel two days advance cancelation was adequate. Every doctor's office I know just requires 24 hours notice. I was well within that timeframe. I don't recommend them unless you want to give them money for nothing.

How can you not only screw up a simple surgery, then in the process killing a dog, and NOT only forget to notify the owner, only to have the owners contact you because they don’t hear from you, only then to try and save face by saying “we don’t really know what happened”….unreal. There is a reason one of the other veterinarians left. Utter incompetence and I truly hope the dog’s family sues and gets your license revoked Dr. Powell. SHAME ON YOU!!!
