Dr. Melad Whaba and his staff are the BEST !!!!!!!! They take care of all my fur babies, the latest one was my cat Negra she ripped her check on a wire he stitched her up not once but twice after she tore her stitches off,, He met me early morning to receive her , and waited for me a little after closing to get her back , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE GREAT PRICE FRIENDLY FACES,
One of, if not THE best veterinary hospitals I’ve ever been to. Most services are in-house and they’re so accommodating to every pet’s needs. We’re moving cross-country soon and our veterinarian was understanding and informative on how best to help our cats with the drive as well as the transition itself. I highly recommend this spot; for shots, diagnostics, whatever your need is, they’re awesome!
Our previous vet took good care of our dogs, but it felt like the second you walked in the door, you were hit with a mandatory $300 blood panel, a list of 'what-ifs' and a list of more tests. I was specifically looking for a local, non-corporate vet who takes a more conservative approach to care, and Dr. Whaba checked every box.
The staff was friendly from the the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Whaba did a real exam and gave me a straight-up assessment. He suggested we start with a sensible course of treatment first, rather than jumping straight to expensive X-rays. He was especially helpful in providing a realistic, conservative plan for my Dachshund’s back issues, which was a huge relief for us. His call was spot on and our little guy is back to himself.
When I asked about our other dog's issues, he didn't push unneeded tests; he just told me exactly how he’d handle it. Checkout was actually affordable (for the exam and the meds), and I left feeling like I found a vet that prioritized my pet and me over running up a tab.
We’ve found our new vet! Thanks, Animal Hospital and Clinic of Arlington.
Had a great experience with the doctor and assistant. They are great about explaining treatment options and strategies. They are also very affordable. I got way better service here than I did at a place in Colleyville. For example, they did Xrays in house, and invited us to look at the pictures. The cost was almost a 1/3rd of the place in Colleyville. Also, instead of making decisions for us, they allowed us to make a sensible and effective course of treatment. I felt the doctor really wanted to serve us, and had great knowledge, and understanding of our fears and mistrust after going to the place in Colleyville. We now feel that those is our place. I would gladly recommend them. At least for dogs. They helped us learn about nutrition concerns for our breed. Great place! Nice people. Affordable. Easy to get to...
The doctor and staff took great care of my sick Corgi. I had taken him to penny paws for kennel cough and after he finished the medication about a week later, he was even worse. I got in the next day at Arlington animal hospital & clinic and they ran through everything that they could to make sure he was going to be okay. They prescribed him medication that cleared up his symptoms and got him feeling better!
