I am sure that those who work here care for animals. However, how does an animal emergency room decline to take a medical emergency for a little dog. If the leadership of this medical practice reads this post- NYC ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER. Take some notes on how to organize a medical practice without causing panic and the potential loss of life to the animal. My dog gets bitten by something at the park and I actually put you on my Apple Maps for the exact situation that happened at the park and you failed. Not cool.

What a scary night as we made our way to Animal Hospital and Urgent Care with our sick little ShihTzu. We were treated so kindly and over looked my tears as the treatment plan was explained. Happy to say she is home and getting better ! So grateful to the entire team.

My partner and I both just had a good feeling when we spoke with the doctor when we first came in. She was confident they could help our dog. Then we appreciated the doctor when we picked her up, too. The prices seemed very reasonable compared to other area providers. It did not feel like anyone was trying to get us to approve additional tests or procedures. It also seemed like everyone genuinely cared about the animals.

I was not in a good place when Dr. Cook called me at 1:00 a.m. to gently nudge me into making a decision about operating on our dog, who had clear signs of an obstruction in her stomach. I knew that our beloved dog would be okay after the surgery, and so my focus was on the hard hit to our savings just when we need it the most (pending college expenses). As the doctor detailed the extra steps that she might need to take during surgery, I asked her to stop. I told her that I was angry and exhausted and just needed to sleep. I told her that I trusted her to do what she needed to do, but not to call me unless something went terribly wrong. I’m sure I sounded awful. But rather than react to my bluntness, she was lovely. She shaved what she could off the price based on work she knew that she wouldn’t have to do, and with compassion in her voice, provided a soft landing for my strong feelings. Our dog is now doing very well, getting better and stronger every day, and the genuinely positive and caring environment at this hospital (by every single person we dealt with, whether front desk or vet tech or doctor) has completely won us over. Thank you so much to everyone. I’ll be back whenever we need you (hopefully not for a good long while).

I can honestly say my experience with animal emergency hospital in Raleigh on Vick Ave was exceptional. It all started at 2:00 a.m. Saturday on July 11th with a conversation with Sebastian. I then arrived at their location at 7:30 a.m. on July 11th. My Rottweiler had decided to swallow a rock and could not pass it through her small intestines and colon. The admissions staff was wonderful and very attentive. Once Thea Belle was triaged Dr. Catherine Coulter assessed her and told me all the steps she was going to take to help alleviate the issue before making surgery the last option. She was able to do what the previous emergency location was not able to do and that was to manipulate The Rock through her intestines and colon and pass it out her body. Words cannot even convey the emotions and feelings that went through my heart and mind when she handed the rock over to me. She and her staff went above and beyond to make sure that Thea Bella received the best care in their hands. If I ever need an emergency hospital again praying that I don't, animal emergency hospital will be the one I make the drive to.
