When I recently moved to Chicago, I was unsure where to go for my new puppy. Luckily, I live very close to this vet, but I got even luckier with the amazing care from all the vets and staff! They are so friendly from start to finish, and you can tell they truly care for our pets. We were originally assigned to Dr. MacLeish (amazing), but we also saw Dr. Clay-Smith (also amazing) on short notice when my dog needed to be seen sooner. They also call a few days later to check in, which is greatly appreciated. The only slight slight grievance I have is they are so caring and busy that sometimes it is difficult to get a hold of someone on the phone. However, if you leave a voicemail or email, they get back to you the same day or the next day, which is great. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup! P.S. Please make sure you grab the itemized receipt to submit as an invoice for your pet insurance! My other vet in another state (before we moved) had an automated system to submit to the insurance company. I do wish they had that here, but it truly is so easy to create an invoice on my end and document our deductible/reimbursements.

Animal Advocate is amazing! The staff is always kind, patient, and happy to answer all of my questions. During our last visit, Dr. MacLeish and Julie were incredibly gentle and caring with my dog, Luna. She always leaves feeling calm and happy. Veterinarians and staff are kind to humans and animals. However, they are never on time. Plan an additional hour, no matter the type of appointment.

Very caring staff! My dog loves coming here. When he had serious stomach issues, instead of bringing him to an emergency vet, I was able to get in to Animal Advocate quickly and they helped treat the issue thoughtfully. Team followed up multiple times to make sure the treatment plan was working and that he was doing ok.
