FISHERCREEK FLAT

Fishercreek Flat-Coated Retrievers was established by Barry and Pauline Harrison who have had a lifelong passion for dogs. When they moved from England to Canada in 1968, they also started on their journey into the competitive world of dogs. While raising a family, they lived with, loved and trained German Shepherds and then Golden Retrievers. Later, with their family now grown, Barry and Pauline discovered Flat-Coated Retrievers and fell hopelessly in love with the breed.
In 2001, they seriously stepped into conformation and performance competitions with their girl Spice. Since then, they have produced multiple Best In Show, multiple Best in Show Specialty, High In Trial, MACH, MOTCH, highly competitive hunt test dogs as well as therapy dogs, service dogs and working dogs including border patrol dogs. Many of Fishercreek's Flat-Coated Retrievers have earned titles, awards of merit, judge's awards and have been recognized at the highest levels in conformation, obedience, agility, rally, field, therapy, tracking, dock diving and working certificates. Their boy Roman is still considered the most titled dog in North America.
Over the decades, Fishercreek has extended into a warm, loving "dog" family that includes Jill, Theresa, Steve, Christine, Ellen, Dan, Robin, James, Heather and many others. As part of Fishercreek family, Jill and Theresa Kuchinos share Barry and Pauline's passion for the breed and bring their own unique experience to the family. Together, Barry, Pauline, Jill and Theresa are working side-by-side as co-breeders, and look forward to continuing the Fishercreek legacy for generations to come.
