I’m snuggling with our beautiful Ginny right now during her morning nap as I share this: Working with Alexandra was seamless! She is so communicative and once you join the waitlist, checking the private group for litter updates was so much fun. As gotcha day got closer, she gave us so much information so we felt totally ready for our girl to come home. When Gotcha Day finally came to meet Ginny, we were just in total awe. The home where the puppies are raised is stunning, and Alexandra is such a doll—she spent so much time walking us through everything in person, gave us a gorgeous family tree to frame, and sent us off with the sweetest blanket. At only 12 weeks, Ginny is already such a clever, sweet girl. She picks up commands quickly, and is so friendly with everyone (especially kids!). She romps and plays with our young twin girls, but then snuggles them for a much-needed nap. She’s already obsessed with her car seat and loves going on adventures to new cities with us where everyone wants to meet her! She is truly a dream come true for our family, and we feel so lucky to be part of Vom Weberschlösschen family. If you’re thinking about getting one of these perfect doxies, the only thing you’ll regret is not getting on the waitlist sooner. 🐾✨

Alexandra breeds wonderful dogs. My experience echoes the other 5-star reviews: our dog came to us nearly housebroken and socialized. He’s a really clever boy, he learns very quickly. He wants to please and has a wonderful, mellow temperament - a lovebug to us and a joy to literally everyone he meets. Rarely barks! While not neutered yet at 14 months, there is absolutely no marking in the house or humping. Our vet, who has been in practice for nearly 50(!) years, said "It’s really hard to find a good dachshund these days, but this is a great little one". We've had other dachshunds, so we can tell she is right. There were a few hiccups with the waitlist process, so I recommend you keep an eye on it, but not enough not to give a wholehearted five star review - the dog was worth it.

Absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end! I have never purchased a puppy before so going through the process for the first time was a bit overwhelming. But Alexandra made the process as easy as possible! She was very clear, communicative, and considerate. She was prompt with responses to my concerns and I was always up to date with the current status of our puppy. And I could go on for days about our amazing angel puppy! She has been perfect from day one until now. (She is now 25 weeks or around 6 months old) It’s true what all the other reviews say about their amazing temperament. Their standards of breeding are truly working because our puppy is so sweet, beautiful, healthy, loving, mild, trainable, and responsive. I couldn’t have asked for a better puppy or a better breeder!!!

Awesome experience working with Vom Weberschloesschen! Great communication, no surprises. Our puppy, Maverick, is awesome. I would highly recommend them for getting a well bred awesome mini dachshund. Maverick is taking to training nicely. He has the oodles of energy and is very handsome(and he knows it). He loves people and is friendly with other dogs. We love our Maverick and thanks again to Alex for working with us!

There is a reason you only see 5 star reviews for this breeder, every step of the puppy process with Alexandra was better than expected. From your first contact with Vom Weberschloesschen until gotcha day, all your questions and concerns are answered promptly. I got Vernon in 2023 and he is now 1. He is the sweetest, happiest, most playful pup with a wonderful temperament. I can tell from all the updates on the Facebook page that all of the VW pups share those same qualities. I am so glad that a friend suggested this page to me a few years ago. I couldn’t recommend the experience enough!
