First off, I'm a real person who had never met this breeder. I was simply looking for a fur baby, but the scammers were out in full force and I had nearly given up. I came across Summers page and saw the phone number so I sent a text. I simply asked if she had any puppies available. To my amazement, Summer didn't text me back... she picked up the phone and called me back! I was actually speaking to a human who wasn't asking for money for a "deposit " before I could even see a pup in person! She told me about the puppies she had, as well as the two toy poodles who were also available. She explained that she breeds imported maltese for show and that she is also testing out toy poodles to potentially incorporate into her program. Summer then invited me to come in person and meet with the puppies and the parents. The conversation was amazing and I was incredibly impressed with the amount of information and knowledge she possessed. The following day I drove to Summers home where I met my future puppy! Now before share info on my puppy, I want to paint a clear picture for you of this home. I pulled up to an enormous, stunning home and walked around to the back deck as instructed. At that time, I saw two little poodles basking in the beautiful weather. They were in a little portable fenced (not in the grass!) and they were playing and wrestling around having a blast! When knocked on the door, about 8 or so tiny little maltese pups answered! It took a min for Summer to answer the door because she was tending to brand new litter of newborns who she was providing extra oxygen for. (That's how devoted this woman is!) I certainly didn't mind waiting, as I had plenty of entertainment at the door fighting each other for my attention! Lol Each and every one of those puppies were well groomed, had little hair bows or cute haircuts, no tear staining around the eyes like you normally see in white dogs. When I say these little dogs were immaculate, I'm not exaggerating. I will also add that these were not the dogs available for sale, they were either part of her program, retired from breeding or her simply her own personal babies that she just loves. No cages. No separation. They were just running around free to play and having fun in their huge home. Speaking of their home, Summers house looks like one giant doggy daycare. I don't know where she and her husband stay, but the dogs take fabulous care of their living quarters! Hahaha! As a matter of fact, these dogs have more toys, beds and furniture than even a day care for children! They are truly loved and spoiled. There is no mess. Just a beautiful clean home. Summer brought out my beautiful boy and I absolutely fell in love. Needless to say, he went home with me that same day. He was 9 weeks old. I took him to my vet within 2 days and the vet said the following. His knees are solid. His heart sounds perfect, no murmurs. His ears and eyes are excellent. His underside is intact and he didn't find one single TINY little thing that he usually tends to see in poodles. He is literally the picture of health. Summer has continued to make herself available for every silly little question I've had and she had loves to receive photos of my "Winston". I genuinely believe that she forms a very real attachment with each and every one of her dogs and when they leave, she worries about them until she is satisfied that they were placed in the right home. My hopes is that one of Summers beautiful dogs makes it to Westminster one day because she truly deserves the recognition for all the love and hard work she puts into breeding quality over quantity every single day!! It's a genuine honor to have one of Summers babies! So if you are reading this because you are searching for 'a dog that is not only gorgeous, healthy, loved, spoiled, but also a TRUE show quality, EVERYTHING tested and specifically selected for perfection of the breed kind of pet'... then this is for you! We purchased a Maltese puppy from this seller and were told the expected adult weight would be around 5–7 pounds. Our dog is now approximately 13 pounds. We reached out to the seller to discuss this discrepancy and sent a formal demand letter, but did not receive a response. We recommend that anyone considering purchasing from this seller ask detailed questions, request documentation about the parents, and get any representations in writing before moving forward. I lost my service dog Lucy age 14 , died in my arms Feb 14, I was devastated. I called Summer asking about the possibility of a girl. She said I am getting 2 babies ready for their forever home but you are welcome to come and see my babies she pointed out there were no girls at the time. I was so lost without Lucy that I drove to Summer’s home. She had one baby boy that she was thinking about keeping. I held that little tiny baby and could not leave without him. He is a big bundle of love at 2 plus years and I also have his half sister now . I will never ever forget how kind Summer was to me that day EVEN THOUGH she was working she took time to help me with my loss. Cuddles and Sophia are not Lucy BUT THEY bring me so much comfort and joy!!! I love them and am so blessed to have such sweet potty trained babies. Summer will always hold a special place in my heart . Her babies are so sweet and beautiful. Summer is kind, gracious and caring for others. Thank you Summer for saving me ! What an absolute delight it’s been getting to know Summer as she gave us our precious two twin babies, Lola and Churro! Summer has been fantastic to work with. She is trustworthy, communicative, kind and supportive! She handled every aspect of getting our pups ready and getting them flown to Colorado. We couldn’t be happier and our Maltese babies are gentle, smart, and overall basically perfect! Highly recommend!
