My husband and I were looking for a last minute get away that was not too far and not a typical hotel stay. This bed and breakfast on a working horse farm was the perfect find! The hostess was very accommodating, the rooms had a charming Victorian vibe while remaining clean, quiet, and private. The highlight of our stay was definitely the guided trail ride—having that included in the rental made the experience so special! We spent a wonderfully relaxing morning swinging by the pool, fishing in the pond, and exploring the grounds. If you love animals, you’ll be in heaven here; there were baby goats, beautiful horses, rabbits, and friendly kittens happily roaming around everywhere you looked. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was the absolute perfect peaceful retreat, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

This review is a long time coming - We have been fortunate enough to have been able to bring home several dogs/puppies from Splendor Farms. When you think about getting a dog from a breeder, you’ll generally be looking for a puppy. Thirteen years ago Kelly showed us an adult doggie that she thought would love a couch at our home. She was right. We took home a 2 1/2 year dog named Bella. She is now almost fifteen years old. She has been the most surprisingly wonderful doggie. She’s quirky, clumsy and loves our couch. She moved in with a 5 yo splendor farms dog and 3 years later a puppy (which she thinks of as her own puppy). Kelly’s dogs have changed our lives - thank you Kelly

This is AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING place to send your children or take a ride your self!!!! My girl rode like a pro after they helped her learn all she could learn about facts about the horses, riding, feeding and caring for a horse. She was exceptional in her show they put on the last day of camp! She made a real connection with her horse, Snickers AKA Snickerdoodles, to her now... 😂 The guides Aubrey & Ann Marie were so understanding and helpful with her experience as well as mine!!!!! I have 2 bad knees and was just SOOO nervous. They were reassuring and surely made me feel safe, secure and made sure I had a great ride. NOW, for the star of the show! Goose was my horse I rode and he was so gentle and just moseyed along like in the movies. It was almost as if he just KNEW I was a nervous wreck. By the end of our ride we were connected... Thank you Goose, Snickerdoodles, Aubrey, Ann Marie & Ms Kelly for an amazing experience. My girl an I WILL definitely be back!!!

Wonderful little weekend getaway. Quaint, cozy little Bed and Breakfast with a working horse stable/arena, fishing pond (catch and release only), goats, chickens, bunnies, a talkative turkey, and even a little burro! The host was was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was in a rustic and super cool dining hall. The horseback/trail riding experience was the best! Teagan and Murray were amazing young ladies who handled the horses like pros! Teagan was an awesome trail/riding guide and instructor…very patient and so good with the horses! Hope to return again soon!

The women who was supposed to do our trail ride called in and said she had to take her kids to urgent care , so she wasn’t goin be able to do our ride ! The Owner we met was very racist , we wasn’t able to get a proper speech we got out the car and she sent the dog after us and she was like well there’s nothing I can do about it , and she was very rude she didn’t even wanna look at us ! She asked , who was riding and my mom said my sister it’s her birthday , my brother & my cousin and she was like oh ! Well call us back in the morning to reschedule it , we will not be calling her back in the morning don’t ever choose to go to this place especially if your black ! She don’t even deserve 1star
