Melody and the crew at Southwind Great Danes are just awesome people. My two danes' mom is from Southwind...one is the best service dog and the trainer said was the easiest and most docile to train. My second pup is the sweetest pup ever with some umph to her, but still very awesome. I can't say enough great things about the quality of puppies and the care Southwind puts into their litters. It follows the pups to their forever couches.

Melody seemed awesome. The pup I got from her was/ is amazing and exceeded expectations. HOWEVER, I later adopted an older Dane from her with the same promise that if things don't work out, we take them back. Betty developed bad digestive issues, once Melody found out Giardia was involved, she said, I won't take her back, try putting ads on Facebook or asking neighbors. So, if you are looking for a breeder who will truly be there for you when things go wrong with your pup, I can't recommend her.

We are the proud owners of a Southwind Great Dane. Being first time Dane owners, we have lots of questions. Melody is always quick to respond with any questions we have. She has a very nice, clean kennel set up. She begins simple training concepts with them while still in her care. This made the transition to our home so much easier. We love our Wilbur and look to add another South wind Dane in the future. I do not hesitate to recommend Southwind Dane for someone looking for an amazing dog! 🐾♥️🐾

Melody is an amazing breeder! She has all her breeding dogs health tested and takes amazing care of them. She also starts training and desensitizing her puppies right away. Our Dane from Southwind is such an awesome dog and we love him so much! When we're ready to add another Dane to our family, they will definitely be from Southwind Great Danes!

We have loved our experience with Southwind Great Danes. Melody was quick to answer any questions we had, both before we got our puppy and afterwards. Shadow is a wonderful dog that is happy, healthy, and well-adjusted. We couldn't be happier!
