Shady Acre Kennels

We could not be happier with the newest addition to our family! I reached out to Shady Acre/Ramona about an adorable JRT puppy and the process from putting down the deposit to picking her up could not have gone any smoother. Ramona was very communicative and offered so much helpful information for caring for our new baby. She has been such a joy and is very sociable, smart, and sweet. She gets along great with my 4 year old daughter and our older female dog as well. She is also pretty much already potty-trained and came to us that way. They really work with these babies and it is very evident once you get them home because the transition is seamless. We had her new puppy wellness exam at our vet today and she got a clean bill of health! Everyone fell in love with her, as we have. You will not regret adopting a baby from Ramona and crew at Shady Acre. They are fantastic and the real deal

We got our Jack Russel puppy last saturday...we were impressed by her looks and how responsive she is with everyone. Thank you Shady Acres you helped my wife get out of a dark space after just losing our last Jack Russel. I highly recommend Shady Acres to anyone looking for a new puppy.

Enjoyed working with Shady Acres on the purchase of our family Puppy. We purchased a mini golden doodle who is the sweetest thing ever. The communication was great. Ramona sent weekly updates with pictures. Great information on how to care for the puppy was provided and the overall experience was amazing!

This is our second time using Shady Acre Kennels, and once again we’ve had a great experience. Their prices are honestly amazing — easily a third of what many other breeders charge — and actually affordable for normal, middle-class families without sacrificing quality. Shady Acre Kennels is very kind, extremely communicative, and thorough. They respond quickly, answer questions clearly, and truly care about making the process smooth. They were even willing to drive several hours to help make everything work, which says a lot about their dedication. Both times, the dogs have been exceptionally clean and well cared for. They came with all paperwork, shots, records, nails clipped, and everything ready to go. No surprises, no missing details. The dogs themselves are beautiful and high quality — very distinct, well-defined coats, great structure, and clearly from strong breeding stock. We’ve had no health issues, and you can tell they’re raised with care. Located just a couple hours over the Georgia line, Shady Acre Kennels is a place we would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quality dog from a breeder who is honest, fair, and truly cares. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

If you're looking for your next puppy then we highly recommend Shady Acre Kennels. We bought our puggle Mocha 3 years ago from here and couldn't be happier. We were so thrilled that we just got another puggle from them this week. They are extremely professional and walk you through all the steps when in the market. They understand that buying a new puppy is a huge decision and start to finish they helped, and at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much Shady Acre Kennels for the new addition to my little family. I'm sure we will be back in a few years wanting another :)
