I cannot say enough about Sue-Ann. Ivan is now 11 years old. We got him when he was 9 weeks old, and where we worked closely with Sue-Ann to train him. Going to Sue-Ann was the best decision we ever made. She is super knowledgeable, and gave us the best dog we can ever get. Sue-Ann is reliable, professional, and responsive. Plus, I plan to get my next dog from Select Shepherds.

Sue-Anne and her husband are amazing. We've raised 2 Select Shepherds over the years. Both rock steady temperament and none of the expected GSD issues. As someone in the vet industry, I've seen what happens when these dogs are bred irresponsibly, and they can be a medical and behavioral nightmare. Their love for their dogs and respect for the breed shine through in every interaction I've had with them. I recommend them to anyone looking for German Shepherd. I'll definitely be reaching out to them when we're ready for our next puppy.

I recently purchased my first dog ever from Sue-Anne and her husband (June 2020) he is now almost 7 months old and so far I have no complaints. I am so happy I went through Select Shepherds - Sue Anne is very sweet and very knowledgeable regarding the breed. With this being my first dog I have emailed and called with many questions, Sue Anne has always answered my questions thoroughly, even though I may feel like a bother she assures me she always enjoys hearing from the people who purchase dogs form her. She would rather have that line of communication open than nonexistent. Anyways, my dog is the best! His temperament is amazing and strangers are always commenting on how great of a dog he is. He is great with kids, loves other dogs but is also loyal to me. He is so smart and a fast learner. I can't say enough good things about him! It's still a little too early to be thinking of a second dog but the next dog I get I will definitely be from Select Shepherds.

Our first GSD from Select Shepherds lived 13 years, and 9 months and had hardly any grey. He was a very gentle dog, incredibly attuned to me. (It wasn't until I was working with another dog, that I realized a number of my hand commands are the same - my GSD just knew the difference from others parts I was giving signals with unwittingly.) I still miss our boy. Though we were not planning on having another dog, we realized we are not people to be without one: we requested another GSD from Sue-Ann immediately.

What a wonderful experience we have had getting our newest family member an 8 week old female shepherd. Select Shepherds helped answer all of our questions and trust me there were many. We highly recommend Select Shepherds to anyone looking for a German Shepherd and keep an eye out for Stella on their FB page in the near future.
