Rowan Retrievers Kennel

We got our sweet Marv from Tonya and Rowan and could not be more happy or grateful. Amazing experience from start to finish with a thoughtful, well organized, informative process. I’ve already recommended her to so many people! We are beyond happy

We are beyond grateful for our amazing Red Golden Retriever, Nova, and the incredible breeder who brought her into our lives. From the very beginning, communication was excellent—clear, timely, and personal. You can truly feel how much Tonya loves her dogs and how much care goes into every single puppy. Even as long distance buyers, we had an open window into the life of the pup via FaceTime calls and were able to work with Tonya to get the best match for our family according to the personality traits of the puppies. She delivered Nova to us and even helped introduce the kids and our other critters so that everyone felt supported to get off to a great start together. We have a pool and had concerns about Nova getting accidentally stuck if she fell in. Tonya got in the pool and taught Nova to use the stairs to get out safely. We were also able to see how much Nova trusted her and it showed how much they had already worked with each other over the course of the first few months of life. Our girl is something truly special. She has brought so much joy, laughter, and fun into our home. She was remarkably easy to train and has a natural gentleness that has made her an extraordinary companion for our complex special-needs child. Watching the bond they’ve formed has been one of the greatest gifts we could ever ask for. They clearly adore each other. Additionally, we are doing better in social and public situations. Where we used to get stares because of slightly incomprehensible needed medical equipment, we now get attention because we arrive with a gorgeous red dog who is friendly to all and helps break the awkward space between strangers. If you’re looking for a breeder who is responsible, loving, and dedicated—and a dog who will brighten your life in every possible way—look no further than Rowan Retrievers. We couldn’t imagine our lives without her.

I found Rowan retrievers through instagram when looking to add a little pup to my family. Tonya made the entire process so easy, and was there to answer all questions that I had. From phone calls, and FaceTime, to picking the dog, it was all a very smooth process. Once our Poppi girl arrived at home, she was exactly how Tonya described her to be. One of the best dogs that I have ever owned, Tonya definitely takes a lot of pride in training, and making sure that all of these dogs are going to fit right into the families that they are going to. My family owns a company that helps out individuals with disabilities, and Tonya made sure to fit us with the best dog for that! If you’re looking for a beautiful retriever & amazing breeder, a Rowan Retriever is the way to go!

Rowan Retrievers have an amazing environment to raise the puppies in. Tonya takes the time to personally interact with each and everyone of them and the results are astonishing. Yogi is exceptionally well behaved and took to training immediately. Couldn’t have received a better puppy and the entire process was wonderful.

We were not looking for a dog, but happened upon Tonya with Rowan Retrievers while we were vacationing in Oregon. She had a litter of pups that we had the chance to meet, obviously fell in love and wanted to make one of the pups part of our family. They weren’t quite ready to leave when we were there, but Tonya personally flew with our Trudy all the way across the country. She has been a true asset and resource for us through the entire process. For a pup I had zero plans of getting, it has truly been incredible. The process was easy, but more importantly, Trudy is incredible. She is such a wonderful addition to our family. I’d recommend Rowan Retrievers to anyone and everyone.
