Rockin' Aussies

We absolutely love our sweet Chloe. Her temperament is perfect and she is the greatest dog. She truly is a “once in a lifetime” girl 🩷 Rockin’ Aussies was truly an amazing family to work with!

Rockin’ Aussies is the best!!! They go above and beyond your expectations. Everything is held to such a high standard and the communication throughout the process was excellent. Steph is incredibly knowledgeable about her dogs and gives each one so much individual care and attention. On pickup day, we were given a thoughtful goodie bag that included all the things that would help bring our puppy home with ease. She goes out of her way to help and you can tell how passionate she is by just talking to her. It warms my heart to know that my dog came from such a dedicated and responsible breeder. I can’t say enough good things 💌

An absolutely wonderful family raising wonderful dogs! We love our Shelby. They take great care in their breeding program to insure life long health pets with great demeanor. They have a wealth of knowledge and are there for all your questions even after you brought puppy home.

During covid we sadly lost both of our dogs, one of which to cancer, the other a veterinary error. After my wife did some research after we lost our first dog, she felt that an Australian Shepherd might be the right fit for our home. She then contacted a breeder in Indiana who wasn't having pups at the time, but she referred us to Rockin' Aussies. Our experience was wonderful, especially with the loss of our other family members. What I found special about Rockin' Aussies was the care and the love that was evident there when we took that first trip to Pekin to bring home our Libby. Which was quickly followed with our return trip to bring home our Louie. We had the benefit of being able to be home with the dogs from the get-go due to covid. And I have been able to remain mostly at home with my work. I mentioned this because it's a blessing because these dogs are true family members and they need you around to share their love with you. It's more like Lovin' Aussies, I now understand what a velcro dog is. As all dogs need to have at least some kind of activity or jobs, these dogs we're originally bred as working dogs so they definitely need exercise and attention. But you will get paid back in spades. I've had dogs most of my life and these are our first Australian Shepherds but they most definitely won't be our last. If you can put the time in they make fantastic companions. Over the last 4 years I have watched our dogs grow and become loving family members. I feel that the care and choices that Rockin' Aussies made in bringing mates together has produced some really wonderful dogs. The only thing that frightens us is how much we love them. We still follow on Facebook the Rockin' Aussie kennel and occasionally when we see that a home placement hasn't worked out, we are so tempted to add a third. I mean really tempted, but we have taken to bringing these dogs on trips and at most we can have two dogs at our destinations. So it would be difficult to try to leave one at home, I miss him when I occasionally have to go into work. But we know these returned pups are going to be good puppies and that most likely the issue was most likely that the adopting family wasn't prepared to put the time and love in that's necessary. Puppies can bark a lot when they're... well you know, puppies. You have to as a prospective dog owner understand what you need to put in to add a loving member to your family. But if you can manage to do that, the returns are well worth it. You're going to have an amazing companion or two or maybe someday three. And if I haven't gotten this point across, I would trust bringing home another canine companion from Rockin' Aussies or as I like to think of them as Luvin' Aussies.

We have had three amazing Aussies from Rockin Aussies, we can say we would do the long travel anytime as we can attest that the owners dedication, professionalism and exceptional care for all their dogs and puppies really shows in the great temperament and loving nature of their dogs and well worth it Thank you for enriching our family with these lovelies
