SCAM!!!! DO NOT BUY YOUR DOG FROM HERE. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Puppy Dreams in West Little Rock and, more importantly, with how they handled the situation after I brought my puppy home. I paid approximately $3,400 for Nala, and the very next day after bringing her home, I had to take her to the veterinarian because she was sick. She was ultimately diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia and required veterinary care and treatment. Within the first week of bringing Nala home, we spent close to an additional $1,500 on veterinary care trying to get her healthy. Between the purchase price and those immediate veterinary expenses, we were already close to $4,900 within the first week. These were not routine puppy expenses or something that developed months after purchasing her. This was medical treatment she needed almost immediately after she was sold to us. Another major issue has been the 30-day Trupanion coverage that we were told about when purchasing Nala. We were told that this coverage would cover 90% of eligible medical expenses, which naturally gave us reassurance when bringing a new puppy home. However, when Nala’s medical expenses were submitted, Trupanion specifically used the word “defective” to describe Nala in relation to the claim and indicated that the responsibility fell on Puppy Dreams. To be completely clear, “defective” is Trupanion’s wording, not mine. I would never describe Nala that way. She is a living animal whom we love and care for. That has left us in an incredibly frustrating position. Trupanion is attributing the responsibility to Puppy Dreams, while Puppy Dreams is telling us they are unwilling to help because we signed an “as-is” agreement. Meanwhile, we are the ones left with nearly $1,500 in veterinary expenses from Nala’s first week home. Yes, I signed the paperwork presented to me when purchasing her. However, I certainly did not expect “as-is” to mean that I should anticipate taking a $3,400 puppy to the veterinarian the very next day because she was sick and then spend close to another $1,500 within her first week home treating her. When I contacted Puppy Dreams, I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I wanted them to acknowledge what happened and work with us toward a fair resolution. Instead, their response has continued to come back to the “as-is” agreement. Nala is a living animal, not a used piece of merchandise. Watching a puppy you just brought home struggle with pneumonia is stressful and heartbreaking enough. Being left with significant veterinary expenses immediately afterward while the business that sold her refuses to provide assistance has made the experience even more upsetting. I love Nala, and I am incredibly thankful she is doing better. I would never give her back simply because she became sick. This isn’t about regretting getting her or not wanting her. It’s about accountability and expecting a business selling puppies for thousands of dollars to stand behind the health of the animals they sell, especially when a serious illness is discovered immediately after purchase. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a puppy here to read every document carefully, ask what happens if your puppy becomes seriously ill immediately after purchase, and get those answers in writing. I would also ask exactly what the advertised 30-day Trupanion coverage will and will not cover. We paid approximately $3,400 for Nala and nearly another $1,500 in veterinary expenses within her first week home. Trupanion attributed responsibility to Puppy Dreams, while Puppy Dreams relied on the “as-is” agreement when we asked for help. I wouldn’t want another family to bring home a puppy they are excited to love and care for, only to find themselves at the veterinarian the very next day with a seriously sick puppy, thousands of dollars invested, and no meaningful assistance from the business that sold her.

Jasmine is such a kind and helpful employee! I have already brought one lovely dog into my home from Puppy Dreams but I was looking for an ESA dog as a disabled veteran. Jasmine heard my situation and gave me great advice while being very professional and friendly. If you are looking for a new furry family member, she can help! ( ◜‿◝ ) Thank you for you kindness! First photo is of my boy, Haku, and the second is of a puppy being goofy there

I went to Puppy Dreams today and honestly had a blast. It was way different than what I expected, but in a good way. Drew and Maddie really helped me out—broke down pricing and made the whole decision process smooth. Definitely a solid experience.
