Providence Puppies

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Providence Puppies and John! We picked up our sweet Shih-Poo puppy, Tilly, on September 2nd, after a friend referred us to John. After losing our beloved Shih Tzu, Sophie, in April, bringing another puppy into our lives was a very emotional and important decision for our family. We feel incredibly fortunate that Providence Puppies was part of that journey. From the very beginning, John has been absolutely amazing to work with. He has been incredibly responsive, always willing to answer our questions, and has shared so much helpful and welcomed advice. One of the things we appreciated most was receiving photos of Tilly every three weeks while we waited for her to come home. Those updates made the wait so much more exciting and allowed us to watch her grow before we even got to meet her. Since bringing Tilly home, John has continued to check in with us to see how she is doing. That says so much about the kind of breeder he is. He genuinely cares about his puppies and the families they go home to, and it is clear that this is much more than just a business to him. Tilly has already brought so much happiness into our home, and we are completely in love with her. She is an absolute sweetheart, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. If you are considering getting a puppy, we highly, highly recommend Providence Puppies and John. From our first conversation to bringing Tilly home and even afterward, the entire experience has been exceptional. John has been a true delight to work with. We brought our puppy home 3 days ago. He’s reached out twice to see how things are going and has given me advice and tips. He’s straightforward and so knowledgeable. Maybe we’re bias but our puppy is so smart. After reading other’s reviews it can’t be by chance. I’m sure safe breeding has a lot to do with it! If you’re on the fence of buying a dog from John, stop questioning yourself and just do it.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with John. From the very beginning, he was incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and helpful throughout the entire process. I spent a lot of time explaining exactly what I was looking for in a puppy, and John listened and guided me to the perfect match. Our Wire Fox Terrier is everything I could have hoped for and more. She is healthy, calm, loving, confident, and absolutely adorable. From the moment we brought her home, it was clear that she had been raised with care and attention. Her temperament is wonderful, and she has quickly become a beloved member of our family. John was always available to answer questions, provided thorough information, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He even met me at the airport, which showed just how much he cares about both his puppies and the families they go to. It's obvious that John is passionate about his dogs and dedicated to producing healthy, well-socialized puppies. We are beyond grateful for our little girl and couldn't have asked for a better breeder to work with. If you're looking for a Wire Fox Terrier, I wholeheartedly recommend John. John was wonderful to work with. He sent pictures and videos of the puppies. We spoke in length about the temperament I was looking for and matched me up with the perfect puppy. Providence Puppies (John) has been a joy to work with!! He is very knowledgeable, as he has been in the business for 43 years! And we absolutely are delighted with our new puppy. She is a beautiful Shih Tzu and her personality is so wonderful!! We just had a vet wellness check and our vet was very pleased with her. We appreciate the fact that Providence believes in transferring their pups around 12 weeks. Eight weeks is just too early and is more indicative of a quick sale. Overall, we are so thankful that our friends recommended Providence Puppies and we would highly recommend them too!!
