NEK Backwoods Goldens

We had such a wonderful experience with Hayley! She was communicative and patient with my many questions. We recently picked up this little gentleman and we couldn’t be more happy! He’s such a bundle of joy and is learning quickly. The process of choosing him and picking him up was easy. I’m very excited to watch him grow up. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a golden retriever puppy to consider NEK Backwoods Goldens!

i got my first golden from the truhart’s almost a year ago & she has been the best girl! hayley was so kind & patient with me throughout the entire process. i had lost my first dog & felt i was ready to allow another dog into my life. despite my overwhelming emotions hayley truly listened to me & was so supportive from picking my puppy out to even now still being there to answer my questions about this new to me breed. winnie has been a beautiful addition to our family & i have certainly contemplated going back for another!

We got the most amazing dog we’ve ever owned from NEK Backwoods Goldens. He is not even 6 months old and he’s so smart. He’s been obeying commands since the first week we got him and he’s amazing at it! In our local woods we’ve been walking him off leash since he was 4 months with no issues. He does sit, down, stay, come, and drop it consistently. He has no health issues at all and our vet is very impressed by how smart and well mannered he is. He’s a total love bug, hasn’t eaten anything other than his own toys and sticks (he loves sticks!). We crate trained him originally, but since he was 5 months old we’ve left him alone in the house and he behaves perfectly. We couldn’t be more pleased! Hayley was very professional and kind. You have to be prepared to select your dog without meeting them to protect the health of the pups, but it worked out amazingly due to her care and quality she puts into her program! We would definitely get another dog from Hayley and certainly recommend to friends to choose NEK Backwoods Goldens.

We just picked up our puppy this past weekend from Haley and have absolutely no complaints! From the beginning, Haley was beyond helpful and extremely responsive - even sending photos and updates since they were born. From the appropriate pricing on an AKC puppy, to the great responsiveness from the breeders, to even checking in with us once we got home - great experience overall. Our puppy is the perfect fit for our family, and we will definitely be recommending this breeder to anyone looking for a golden pup!

We got our sweet puppy Peaches from NEK Backwoods Goldens in October and we could not be more thrilled with the experience. Hayley was wonderful to work with communicative and kind. Upon picking up our puppy it was clear how much care they take with the puppies. Peaches has a clean bill of health, she is gentle, enthusiastic and is a complete sweetheart. She has added such joy to our young family. I would highly recommend NEK Backwoods Retrievers to anyone looking for a Golden Retriever puppy! We will certainly be back to add a friend for Peaches when the timing is right.
