Mrs.B's Paws to Flaunt / LAKE SUMTER YORKIES

This was the best experience ever! I started looking for a Yorkie about six weeks ago, and it’s amazing how many online scams are out there. Then I found Ron and Barbara at Lake Sumter Yorkies — what a delightful experience! I was able to visit the very same day. Their home is full of happy, healthy Yorkies, with plenty to choose from. Having never seen a “white” Yorkie (aka Parti Yorkie)before, I immediately set my sights on one — and they had the perfect little one for me! When I arrived, I was greeted by dozens of Yorkies — yapping, friendly, and happy! I immediately knew I was in the right place. I met Ron and Barbara at Lake Sumter Yorkies and picked up two tiny “Parti Yorkies” who were just two weeks old. I had my heart set on a female, but I have to admit, every single one of their Yorkies was beautiful. Choosing just one was a real challenge! It was obvious that all of the dogs were well cared for and loved daily by Ron and Barbara. I eventually chose my puppy from the two I was holding — though I’ll admit, I went back and forth between them on every visit! I spent about 45 minutes there on that first visit and put down a deposit on my little Minnie. Each week after that until the pup was 8 weeks old, I visited Minnie, Ron, Barbara, and all of Minnie’s furry friends and family. Every time, I was welcomed warmly, and the Yorkies were always happy and affectionate. I usually stayed between 30 minutes to an hour each visit — it was the highlight of my week! Fast forward to October 22, 2025: Minnie turned 8 weeks old and was ready to come to her forever home. When I arrived, she was freshly bathed, nails trimmed, and just a little furball of pure delight! She had also been microchipped and came with everything I needed — CKC registration papers, microchip information, a health certificate, and even enough food and supplies so I wouldn’t need to rush out for anything. To top it all off, Ron and Barbara sent Minnie home with a blanket and a little bed that carried the scent of her littermates, helping to comfort her during the transition. Ron took the time to go over every detail to ensure Minnie’s smooth adjustment to her new home while Barbara held and loved on my precious Minnie This entire experience has been beyond wonderful. I will absolutely consider getting another Yorkie from Ron and Barbara in the future — and I highly recommend Lake Sumter Yorkies to anyone looking for a healthy, happy, and well-loved Yorkie puppy!

Last Wednesday (7 Jan 2026), we got the newest member of our family, Bambi. She's a 9 week old Yorkie puppy. Ron and Barbara couldn't have been any nicer. They had a large variety of yorkie puppies to meet and select from. It took us no time to settle on the one we wanted. Ron and Barbara spent a good amount of time with us, giving us the puppy's history and providing us with a wealth of information. We even got to meet Bambi's parents. Bambi already had several vaccinations and was also chipped. Ron and Barbara are very dedicated and caring breeders. We were even provided with a large "doggie bag" which provided us with ample supplies such that we didn't need to rush out to the pet store when we got home that afternoon. So many items I hadn't thought I would ever need, were included in the bag. Our little baby is extremely affectionate and has already become very attached to us and follows us around the house, wherever we go. I can't say enough good things about Ron and Barbara. Anyone considering acquiring a yorkie should look no further, and go see Ron and Barbara. I guarantee, you will not be disappointed.

I was searching for a male Yorkie to join our family and be my older female Yorkie’s buddy. I wanted to make sure I got our pup from a responsible and ethical breeder. We found our new baby, Niko, at Lake Sumter Yorkies. Ron and Barbara were amazing, super accommodating, and responsive throughout the whole process. They welcomed us into their home and I got to meet Niko at just two weeks old. I loved that Ron and Barbara were very transparent and I could see how the mommas and daddies were also living. I also loved that I could visit Niko as often as I wanted, during visiting hours, until our take-home date. I was regularly sent updates and pictures until the day Niko was ready to come home. The dogs at Ron and Barbara’s looked well-cared for and happy. The mommas had comfortable set-ups and easy access out of their pens. They also had a large outdoor, pet-safe, play area for their dogs, which I thought was great. The day I picked up Niko, I got great care info, Niko’s health records, health certificate, and a bunch of other goodies. The whole process was super organized and well thought out. They were very professional throughout the whole process. I would definitely return if getting another pup in the future and would recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about Ron & Barbara. They are truly amazing people. This whole experience has been so incredible with them. They genuinely love their babies & take such good care of them all. They welcome you into their home like family & let you come visit your baby whenever you want. Barb and Ron are BY FAR the BEST breeders we have ever found. When we came to meet them, they were so warm and kind. They invited us into their home where we spent literal HOURS sitting and connect with their fur babies. Not once did we feel pressured or rushed. They were both knowledgeable and more than happy let our whole family hold their puppies and play with their dogs. It is a true yorkie heaven there!! All of their beautiful dogs are free to roam around. It is so clear that they LOVE and truly care for their dogs!! We ended up taking two pups because they were all so wonderful that we couldn’t decide on just one!! The puppies came with the most complete and absolutely adorable little package to take home, along with their health certificate and vet records, food, etc.. We are over the moon with our new babies and will absolutely be purchasing more from them in the future!! Such a wonderful experience!
