Mokelumne River Mini Aussies

In Jan this year we brought home our beloved Tri-Red Aussie from Mokelumne River - Nancy and her family. The whole experience was great. The dog was in great health and had been socialized with people and other dogs so that it was a good beginning. Our new Aussie is a handful, but that was expected. He is absolutely delightful and everyone says how beautiful he is. We love him and are grateful for such a great experience with Mokelumne River Mini Aussies.

When my sweet dachshund passed away in 2024 and we had a mini aussie, we knew we had to give her a new friend. I looked online to find a new great mini aussie breeder when I came across the Mokelumne River Mini Aussies website. I immediately got excited and texted Nancy Burns, the amazing breeder of this website, and she got back to me within days of all the info I would need. When she had a litter of exactly what I was looking for she was so quick to send me pictures and provide me the chance to claim my new pup. After I got to pick my new part of the family, she not only sent me pictures of updates on how my pup was doing, but she also provide me facetime calls, and when the pups were old enough, I got to visit my sweet girl in person, still with all safety precautions intact. When pickup day came around, my family and I were so excited to take on a new part to our adventures. Nancy helped us in every aspected to make sure our mini aussie would get the greatest care it could possibly have. She provided them shots and when it was pickup day our pup had just been bathed which proves how much she cares for these pups and wants the best for their new family’s. Nancy and her family are such kind and amazing people with such big hearts and just want the world for the puppies. I would highly recommend the Mokelumne River Mini Aussie breeder as you will get the happiest, prettiest, healthiest pup ever! Now Imy family is complete with our sweet girl copper! :)

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience with Nancy! We had been seeking out an Australian shepherd to add to our family and are so fortunate to have come across Nancy’s page. Early on, we explained what color and gender pup we were hoping for and she updated us each week with pictures after our girl was born! Nancy and her family have been amazing throughout the whole process. As first time puppy owners we had many questions that Nancy took time to answer and ease our anxiety. Even months after our pick up date Nancy remains responsive to our questions and sincerely cares about their puppies’ development. Our experience with Nancy was exceptionally wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable about her Aussies and takes excellent care of them. She guided us through the entire process in a very caring, friendly and easy manner. Our pup, Marley, is so intelligent, friendly, healthy and loving.
