McCarty's Terriers of Simonton Farms

14 years ago I purchased my first Cairn from McCarty’s Terriers. They came highly recommended from family friends in Miami; after spending time with some of the Cairns from their farms I knew I wanted one of my own. Susan was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me pick from two different pups from different litters. Her instincts and guidance proved right and I had the good fortune of spending 14 years with my sweet, smart lady. Not wanting my daughters to be too heartsick over the loss of their beloved Chloe, I reached out to Susan for the second time. She was patient, sensitive and for a second time matched us with a little girl who was eager to learn and be loved. Both my pups quickly learned handfuls of commands and are pleasures to take on walks and socialize as they are affectionate with humans and playful with dogs of all sizes. Any time we’ve had questions regarding immunization schedules or food recommendations Susan is quick to respond and proves highly knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a Cairn to love, I highly suggest McCarty’s Terriers.

I love my dogs, but this is a puppy mill that doesn’t cage their dogs. I purchased sisters. They do not socialize their pups, thus if you buy a pup over 8 weeks, there is a really high probability that it will have behavioral issues. My dogs were supposed to weigh between 10-12 lbs, but they are 14 and 20.

These are the best dogs! I currently have 5 of them all from the farm ages puppy to 10.5 years old! The playful personalities offer endless hours of fun and they are so loyal and loving! They are my kids😍. I am a loyal customer of these amazing pups from multiple sets of parents all from the farm! The colors and variety of coats are unique too! I highly recommend McCarty’s!

We got a puppy rat terrier from them! We love her. They worked everything out for us when we went to pick her up!

The McCarty’s are wonderful!! I have gotten 4 Cairn Terriers from them. I got my first one 7 years ago. I called Susan when I lost my first one and Susan said she had a litter ready to go. I bought 3 siblings; I have a boy and a girl and my friend/neighbor had a boy. All the puppies will be growing up “together “. The McCarty’s are very thorough with all the paperwork (AKC and Shots) and their knowledge is impeccable- the dogs are healthy and happy in their new homes. Thanks again Susan n family
