I can't praise Cassandra enough! From the moment I contacted her to the present day, her support and kindness have been incredible. I have known her since highschool and knew she would be a wonderful breeder. She raised such an amazing puppy, Kobe, who has seamlessly become the perfect addition to our pack of dachshunds. Her dedication and love for the puppies were evident from the start. She provided all the necessary information and guidance, making the pick-up process smooth and stress-free. But it didn't stop there! Even after bringing Kobe home, she continued to check in on us, offering advice and support whenever needed. Having had dachshunds for over 20 years, I can confidently say that Kobe is one of the best puppies I've ever had. I would go back to this breeder in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and responsible breeder. Her commitment to her dogs and their new families is truly remarkable. My husband and I have wanted a miniature long-haired dachshund for years, and knew we wanted to seek out a great breeder when we decided to take that step. Immediately after inquiring with Cassandra, we received a detailed response and started moving through the process! She provided clear information, dates and updates on the puppies (and mama Lucy!) as they grew during pregnancy and in their first few months after being born. The passion and love Cassandra has for what she does is clear as day. She allowed us to come meet our little Maple before she was ready to come home, and when we arrived at take home day, you could tell Cassandra’s heart left with each puppy. Cassandra is amazing! Got my happy and healthy sweet Mable from her. If I could give Mainely Mauxies & Doxies a 10 star review I would! She made the whole process of adoption a dream. Will absolutely be returning for Mable’s future little sister or brother!

Gotcha day was yesterday for our little Andi! Cassandra and Justin have been amazing and patient with us throughout this whole process from the time we filled out the paperwork until even now after he’s already in our arms, checking on him to see how he’s doing! Cassandra promptly answered all of our questions throughout this process (which were a lot, I must add!). We also received updates on how little Andi was doing with pictures and some videos along the journey. On Gotcha day, Justin drove from Maine to Boston to catch a flight to Tampa, handed him to us in our arms, then turned back around to take the flight back to Boston and then drove back home to Maine all in the same day…THAT IS HOW MUCH CASSANDRA AND JUSTIN CARE ABOUT THIER PUPPIES AND THEIR SOON TO BE PUPPY PARENTS! He came with a few blankets with the smell of his mom and littermates, some of his favorite toys, and some food and treats. Andi has already settled in, in just one day! He is SUPER sweet and OMGoodness is he just the cutest pup in the whole entire world!!! Such a good boy already…we are absolutely in LOVE 🐶♥️ We already told Cassandra, we will be back on the list for another puppy soon, I’m sure of it!!!

I would give Mainely Mauxies and Doxies a 10 if I could! Our Maggie is the most loving pup and it was obvious she was no stranger to the comforts of home and not a cage. She was well socialized with other dogs and humans as well. Smart, healthy and a joy to have in our lives. These are reputable breeders with your pup's best interest at heart, not a puppy mill. The pups are chipped and vetted. They do not come home without a clean bill of health. These are wonderful people raising wonderful dogs.
