Lazy Acres Bernedoodles

I couldn't be happier with my decision to get a puppy from Lazy Acres Bernedoodles! Not only was it a pleasure to work with Becca to choose the puppy that would suit me, but also the care she puts into raising the puppies shows in how adaptable Raven was to coming into my life. She is smart, playful and alert, but also happy to sit at my feet under my desk when playtime is over. Being crate-trained before leaving Lazy Acres made it easier for me to safely leave Raven alone for short periods. She never cries or barks when in her crate, and shows no signs of separation anxiety when left alone. She is a wonderful addition to my home, and a beautiful dog overall. I am very happy to have found Lazy Acres Bernedoodles early in my search for a puppy, and thankful for Becca's patience with my many questions, as well as her generosity of time in allowing visits to view the puppies at certain stages, which helped greatly in my decision-making.

We absolutely loved working with Becca at Lazy Acres! She is an incredibly caring dog-owner and breeder, and it is clear by how amazing our puppy has been. We adore our puppy from Lazy Acres - she is super sweet, incredibly smart and loving. This is our first experience owning a dog and we had a lot of questions as newbies, but felt very comfortable asking any questions and loved the updates Becca provided along the way. We searched long and hard to find a conscientious breeder who treated their animals as family, not ATMs. A friend pointed out that puppy mill rescue practices function to keep puppy mills in business (by offering a “humane” next step in the dog’s life via adoption)—and we wanted something as far from a puppy mill as possible. Lazy Acres is a haven that our pup loves coming back to visit. She embodies all the best of miniature poodle and Bernese traits, and we could not be more grateful to have the opportunity to share our lives with her. The pup we adopted is the best family dog I could have hoped for. Having worked at the humane society, having interfaced with four-legged trauma for many years—I feel grateful to experience what healthy, conscientious, science-informed, heart-centered, and kind animal husbandry can be. Great to work with Becca at lazy acres. Amazing dogs, very smart and well mannered. We got Steven formerly known as Gnocchi and wouldn’t trade him for anything! This is Steven at 6 months old, 27 pounds. Vet says he should be around 35-40 which is the perfect size

I did a ton of research into Bernedoodle breeders in Colorado before deciding to go with Lazy Acres, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Becca was super helpful in answering all our questions and it was apparent that she takes so much care in selecting dogs that are healthy, happy and will breed puppies with great temperaments. We loved how much care she takes in the process of raising the puppies, and our dog is so smart, loving and easy to train. We recently took her to a dog training school and the trainers remarked on how well behaved she was for a puppy, and that our breeder had done a great job. We couldn't recommend Lazy Acres more for anyone looking for a great family dog!
