I cannot sing Linda Layne's praises loud enough! This incredibly responsible breeder has dedicated her life to producing the healthiest Italian Greyhounds by studying the breed's genetics, bloodlines and behavior. The result is beautiful, graceful, loving, well behaved and disarmingly sweet doggies! As a buyer looking for an IG to show and breed Linda spoke with me several times before we settled on a dog that would fit what I was looking for. She was so thorough and helpful, she has a plethora of knowledge on the breed and makes sure her buyers understand what it means to own an iggy. The home where her sires, dams and puppies are is so organized and clean. I was very impressed by the overall cheerfulness of the dogs in her home and her ability to keep everything so pristine. She has champion bloodlines that are gorgeous and her history in the show world is remarkable. Regardless if you're looking for a dog to show or just a companion/pet, Layne's Italian Greyhounds will not disappoint! I contacted an Italian Greyhound Organization and found out Linda was reputable. I visited her 3 times meeting the Dam, the Sire, and my puppy when she was born. I received all paperwork and she drove herself hundreds of miles to deliver my dog with toys and a blanket. I trained my dog to use Wee Wee pads so she does her business without having to hold it to go outside. I have had an Italian Greyhound before for 14 years. This dog is affectionate and beautiful, and I love her. She does not go unnoticed. Update. My dog developed a luxating patella in left leg at 2 years and right leg at 3 years. $10,000 for both legs. Make sure you get pet insurance that covers the condition. I have TruPanion Pet Insurance.

If you are looking for beautiful, quality Italian greyhounds, Linda Layne is the person to see!! Me and my boyfriend have wanted an Italian greyhound for a long time and we were so impressed with Linda’s service and her dogs! We drove 3 hours to come choose our puppy and the drive was well worth it. Right off the bat, you can tell how passionate Linda is for the breed and how much she cares about all of her dogs. We have never seen more beautiful Italian greyhounds! Each one of her dogs had stunning colors and coats, along with great personalities! You can tell they are all well cared for. Linda and her husband were a pleasure to meet and we really appreciated her taking the time to answer all of our questions. And as first time dog owners, we had many! Linda is very knowledgeable and trustworthy about the breed and her years of experience with them truly shows. We were also able to meet the father and mother of our puppy which we liked. She even sent us pictures of our puppy while we were waiting for him to reach 10 weeks! When it came time to pick up our puppy, he already had been seen by a vet and had his first set of shots, as well as genetic testing. She also sent us home with toys and blanket for our puppy to help him with the transition, as well as a bag of puppy food. We got a folder that contained a record of his vaccinations, tips on training and caring for the dog, recommendations for food, and a pedigree! Overall, we absolutely love our puppy and are SO happy with our experience with Linda Layne!! We cannot thank Linda and her husband enough! Would highly recommend her to anyone wanting an IG and we know we will be back to see her again if we decide to get another one!!

One day last winter I had the pleasure of meeting one of Linda's Italian Greyhound's in Newport RI- that day I contacted her immediately seeking interest in her beautiful dogs. Three months later, after numerous helpful and joyful emails and phone calls my dad and I made the trip to Florida to pick up my iggy, Rudy, from Linda's home. She welcomed us openly and showed us all of her beautiful dogs, told me what to expect with my puppy, as well as answered many questions. I had such a wonderful day with her and felt more than comfortable leaving her house that day with Rudy. Not only does she produce stunning and adorable dogs, they have a temperament unlike any other- energetic, loving, sociable, and smart. Linda explained in full detail Rudy's bloodline as well as the success she has had with her other dogs. I received not only my beautiful dog and companion, Rudy, from Linda- but also a friendship and relationship I will always treasure with her. I hope in the future to get another dog from her, as does my sister. Everyone who has the chance to meet Linda and her dogs is extraordinarily lucky. Rudy is just about 10 months old now and is my best friend, I cannot wait to continue our adventures together.
