Lakeshore Maltese

I would highly recommend Marilyn from Lakeshore Maltese! We adopted our beautiful boy, Reggie, from her and found her so kind and thorough with all the information regarding this breed. She is so caring and handled each pup with love This is my first Maltese and she spent over two hours with us and two other adopting couples, explaining care, food, potty training and puppy traits, so we would feel comfortable with our new baby. I have called her numerous times with questions and she has been extremely helpful. I put half of the fee down and brought the remainder when I picked up Reggie. His temperament is so sweet and my husband has fallen in love with him. You couldn’t ask for a more caring breeder and I hope to get another Maltese friend for Reggie in the near future from Marilyn.

Marilyn’s love for and devotion to breeding amazing dogs is evident in their incredible temperament as well as their physical beauty. I absolutely recommend getting your Maltese pup from lakeshore Maltese. Marilyn is amazing at what she does. She knows exactly how long to keep the puppies with their mom to ensure they learn what they need to before going to their forever home. My pup has brought my husband and I nothing but pure happiness and joy. She is the most sweetest/loving pup I have ever met and I’m not just being biased. We take her everywhere with us and everyone who comes across her falls in love immediately and can’t believe how well behaved she is. I would give Marilyn 10 stars if I could!

I went to Lakeshore Maltese and was very impressed. Very clean. All the dogs were happy, enjoying lounging on the couch.Puppies were very happy and playful. She is definitely a breeder that takes pride in what she does. I would highly recommend Lakeshore Maltese.

I am not sure why there were several negative review with Lakeshore Maltese. We bought our maltese puppy in 2021 and he has brought us nothing but pure joy and bliss. Marilyn takes a great care of her mature maltese dogs to ensure she is able to deliver healthy and well-trained puppies to every customer. It's been 3 years and our puppy has not peed or pooped outside of his training pad. He may miss the pad a little bit sometimes when he stands near the edge of the pad but he will never pee/poop in areas with no pad. This is true ever since the first day the puppy arrived at our home. I cannot appreciate enough how important it is to have a potty-trained puppy if you are a first-time dog owner. It is simply frustrating when you unknowingly step onto your dog's pee or poop at random places throughout your home, like what I had experienced with my college roommate's dog. In addition, Marilyn trained her puppies to be close to humans. My puppy gives me kisses everyday after a good meal, when I hug him, or when he feels refreshed after a good night's sleep. Because her puppies are so close to people it is recommended that you have someone home at all times to accompany the new puppy. My puppy gets anxious when his favorite person (my wife) is not within his sight. But when someone's home with him, he likes to cuddle and play. Overall, owning a puppy from Marilyn has been one of the best decisions my family has made in recent years.
