Knightyme Danes

I frequently visited KnightTymeDanes website to follow what litters were available. I contacted Rick to let him know I was interested in his puppies. He responded back and we set up a FaceTime call so we could “meet” and see his dogs. As soon as a litter was born I contacted Rick to hopefully reserve a puppy. Rick got back to me quickly and I was able to reserve my boy. Every couple weeks I’d get a video update of my puppy. This litter ready to go home shortly after coming home from our honeymoon and yet Rick allowed us to pick our puppy up on our drive home- since we live 4+hrs from him, this saved us time and money! When we picked him up, Rick was understanding about our time changes due to our travel. When we got there we got to first meet our puppy’s parents, siblings, and even grandma. He has gorgeous, huge dogs. We were sent home with a puppy bag full of goodies and info, our puppy even had a collar and leash already from him. We have had our puppy from KTD for a week now and we could not be more in love with him. He’s 8wks old and just under 19Lbs! If we get another dog in the future, it will definitely be another Dane from KTD even with the distance. Pics to show off my stunner from him.

Knightyme Danes are excellent to work with. Mr Richard is very knowledgeable, understanding and loves his dogs very much. We bought a puppy from him in 2025 and our veterinarian was very pleased with how well he took care of her prior to us buying her. She is very healthy and wonderful temperament. We highly recommend Knightyme Danes to anyone looking for a puppy or an adult Great Dane.

My fiancé and I decided to add another dog to our family. We already have two Westies and wanted a bigger dog, especially after the passing of his dog three years ago. While searching for a new addition, I came across Rick's page (Knightyme Danes) and started looking at the available puppies. We quickly settled on a harlequin puppy and reached out to Rick. Rick responded promptly, informing us that the puppy we chose was on hold until after the holidays. However, he suggested we consider other puppies, even recommending one that he was particularly fond of. We asked if we could see both puppies—the one we had chosen and the one Rick had suggested. Rick arranged a video call where he took us through his kennels, showing us where the dogs were housed. I was very impressed with how clean and spacious the kennels were. It was clear that Rick is not just a breeder but also a true lover of the breed. The level of care he provides for each dog was evident throughout the process. Rick showed us each pup individually, and when he placed them side by side, we realized that we preferred the one he had recommended. We were thrilled and eager to bring our new puppy home. From start to finish, Rick was incredibly communicative. He kept us informed about costs and every detail along the way. Our beautiful boy joined our family on January 3rd of this year. What I appreciated most about Rick and his dogs is the genuine passion he has for the breed. It shows in every aspect, from helping you choose your pup to ensuring they transition into their forever home. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and caring Great Dane breeder, Knightyme Danes is the place to find your perfect companion. We are so grateful to have found Rick. We received Medusa at 8 weeks old. Drove 12 hours in total to get my service dog prospect. Dusa is now 5 1/2 months knows close to 20 commands and has already alerted several times to my seizures without being task trained for it. I would most definitely recommend Ricks puppies and am pretty sure we’ll be getting a second very soon. Our experience has been everything we could’ve hoped for plus more.
