Johnston's Beagle Farm

My brother's and I purchased 2 dogs from the Johnstons Farm about 3 months ago and the one we paid the most for who was supposedly the better of the two is gun shy and VERY SKIDDISH once you get him out of the box. The younger of the two is a started dog and that's not what was advertised. I would not recommend out of state purchasing from this place.

I got a very bad feeling about this place just from talking to the owner. I think we can tell alot just from the name- Beagles arent farm animals. I am sure some good hunting dogs come out of this place simply because beagles do what beagles do, but Im telling you something aint right here. The owner apparently knows everything there is to know about beagling, and is also very comfortable letting potential customers know that they dont.

I purchased 2 dogs from Johnstons Beagle Farm and both were outstanding gun dogs. Glenn the owner is very nice and is more knowledgeable than any beagler I’ve ever met. He always answered all my questions and helped me with any problems I had. I would not hesitate to buy more dogs from him. Great guy!

I bought a male and a female on Monday. I couldn't be happier. Glenn help me pick them and ran several dogs at his facilities. We jumped 7 today and killed 6. They handle well and are great gun dogs. Thank you. If I ever need another dog then I'll be back.

I just bought the fourth dog from Glen over the last five years. Every dog has been a winner. I work all my dogs hard and after 3 or 4 months, I always end up with good, hard hunters. I don't show the dogs I use them for hunting.
