John Dayon Golden Retrievers

We brought Ellie home this past January after communicating with John for several months. When we lost our first golden to cancer last spring (not one of John’s puppies) we weren’t sure when our hearts would be ready to do it all over again. But after speaking to John and getting to visit his dogs in person, we knew we had found exactly where we wanted our next puppy from. John is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met about this very special breed. His property and his dogs are absolutely beautiful. They are all obviously loved and very well cared for. Our sweet girl Ellie is such a dream! John has been so helpful and communicative and is always willing to answer our questions. I highly recommend John if you’re looking for a beautiful, well-tempered and gentle golden puppy to add to your family!

We got our lovely girl from John in October and she has been the absolute best thing to ever happen to us. The entire process was phenomenal. She is the best gift we could have ever received. He is the absolute best!

I cannot believe it’s taken me so long to review, but here goes…John is beyond knowledgeable about his Goldens. His pups are not just beautiful, they’re healthy, well bred, , and have great temperaments. Our first Dayon Golden was back in ‘07-Rocky , we returned a couple years later to get Marlie. I loved that we also got to meet and play with their parents (Casper💛) They would visit time to time for boarding which was a great comfort to know they were in good hands. They both lived very long healthy lives-so it was an easy decision to get two more! We now have another pair Murray, very mellow, super sweet guy and Charlie girl is as silly as can be. We adore our sweet pups and would highly recommend John Dayon for your next family dog!

I have had 4 of Johns goldens. 2 well in high school and 2 wonderful girls now. His dogs are sweet, healthy, friendly, and perfict goldens. The ideal family companion. John is also amazing and knowledgeable about his animals. John has consistently gone above and beyond more than i could ever hope or even ask for. Thank you, John, my two dogs are the best things in my life. I could not be happier and hope to have a dayon golden in my life for the rest of my life. I have no reason to ever get a different dog. Dayon goldens are the best.

We got our little boy, Ollie, from John Dayon and it was a fantastic experience picking him up. John spent time with us, providing thorough guidance on how to raise our new Golden puppy. We have never experienced this level of care and attention from previous breeders. Ollie has been a wonderful addition to our household. He is a beautiful Golden, full of energy and wit. We would absolutely do business with John again.
