Hickory Ridge Goldens (English Cream Golden Retrievers)

We could not have imagined a better experience choosing our young family’s first dog. We are so thankful we found Hickory Ridge Goldens! From the very beginning, Elizabeth was an absolute joy to work with — communicative, professional, and incredibly kind. She kept us well-informed throughout every step of the process: from selecting our puppy, to preparing our home, to welcoming her into our family. Even now, more than two and a half years later, she still checks in and follows along with us on Instagram, which speaks volumes about how much she truly cares about each of her dogs and their families. Our sweet Marley has been the perfect addition to our home — gentle, well-mannered, and endlessly loving. She has the best temperament and has been so patient and gentle with our now one-year-old baby. We are constantly reminded of how lucky we are to have found such a wonderful breeder who clearly raises her puppies with so much love and attention. We are so lucky to have found Elizabeth and Hickory Ridge. We just picked our puppy up (Gravy) and she is beyond beautiful. She’s 9 weeks old today and has been the sweetest and easiest puppy we have had. She is essentially potty trained (a few accidents here and there as those puppy bladders are tiny!) and my husband already trained her to sit on command. She’s the most peaceful and gentle girl, our 3-year-old golden has taken to her as quickly as we have. The blood lines are strong with these angels! As someone who has owned many retrievers, I can honestly say Elizabeth and her family have raising golden retrievers down to an art. We are so very thankful.

Hickory Ridge Golden’s is by and far the VERY BEST place to get your next family member!!!! I brought Lux home on April 6, 2025 and he is the SMARTEST and SWEETEST baby ever! They were super responsive and truly care for each of the babies they raise. These puppies are so well cared for, so loved, and just precious! They respond to all inquiries and made the process easy to navigate. They had a very well thought out schedule, taking into account where the puppies new family members were traveling in from. He is 9 weeks old today and they provided me with all of his medical records, exactly how many shots and dewormers he had, and provided me with all of the next steps and what to expect in the coming weeks and months. They even sent me home with a small bag of his dog food and a tiny squeaky lamb, which will come in handy on any upcoming trips. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about Elizabeth and her family. I will 100% be back to visit them & would recommend anyone looking for a precious ECGR to pay them a visit. Absolutely top notch, even when giving directions to head back to Oklahoma, they warned about the curvy roads and driving slower, so my little Luxie-Bear wouldn’t get car sick. He tolerated the 7+ hour drive really well and slept through the night when I arrived home! Thank you again for providing me with such a precious bundle of joy!!! He’s so perfect and I know that’s a direct result of your sweet family providing so much love and care for him.
