We've had our pup for two weeks now and he's been a welcome addition to our family. After much research, Abby and Rosemarie showed themselves to be knowledgeable, responsible, kind-hearted breeders with a real love for English Cream goldens. From birth until the day we brought our guy home, they've included us every step of the way with videos, pictures, and constant communication. They encourage engagement between themselves and those of us bringing puppies home. They've shared endless resources on things like healthy training techniques (and trainers), beds that have stood the test of time, brushes, treats, shampoo...you name it, they've covered it, which made bringing our puppy home an easy transition. Most importantly, it's clear time and attention were given to each puppy. When it came time to choose a puppy they offered helpful insight into the each puppy's deposition and how that may fit with our individual family dynamic. We have a long way to go with our guy, but Abby and Rosemarie did everything in their power to give us a healthy, happy, well-adjusted pup who fits right in with our family! We're so thankful :)

When my husband and I decided we were ready to welcome our dream dog-a Golden Retriever —into our family, we knew it would take a lot of research to find a breeder who treats their animals with compassion. After looking into numerous options, it was clear that Heartland Creams was the best by far—not only because of the extensive health testing and precautions they take to breed healthy puppies, but also because of the love and care they put into each one. These puppies and their parents are truly part of their family, living in their home and receiving endless love. Abby and Rosemarie are both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to everything puppy-related, from nutrition and training to toys and beyond. From the very beginning, they provided regular updates with photos and videos of the mom and puppies, keeping us involved every step of the way. They were always ready to answer any questions and offer guidance on just about anything. In the eight weeks before coming home, they do everything possible to ensure the puppies are well-adjusted, socialized, and ready for their new families. Our girl is so sweet and playful— we truly could not have asked for a better dog or experience. We are beyond grateful for everything they do. I will recommend them to everyone and will definitely be back when we're ready for our next!

We had been wanting a Golden Retriever for years, so to say we researched breeders thoroughly is an understatement. After interviewing several English Cream Golden Retriever breeders and speaking with Abby, choosing Heartland was an easy decision. She was hands down the most personable breeder we spoke with and answered every question (and then some) extremely thoroughly. Abby was extremely professional throughout the entire process. We were in constant contact prior to birth and received updates on their development. We received pictures, videos, and frequent phone calls. She doesn't just "sell puppies", she gets to know your family, the activities your family is involved in, your family schedule, and what you are looking for in your new family member. Since her Goldens are part of her family, she knows the temperament of the puppies, activity level, and helps to make sure you get a puppy that is a great fit for your family. After much discussion, Abby helped us choose "Miss Purple", but because she was so bonded with "Mr. Orange" , we decided to keep them together and now we have two. I can't put into words just how amazing these two are. Abby was on point in matching these two puppies with our family. Today they are 10 weeks old and they are amazing dogs. At 10 weeks, they already know basic commands (sit, stay, come here, their names) and are almost completely potty trained. When getting a puppy from Heartland, you aren't just getting a puppy, you are getting an extended family. We stay in close contact with Abby and she will forever be part of our journey with our pups. The love, care, and knowledge that she shows this breed is top notch. She's an outstanding breeder and anyone who is lucky enough to get one of these pups will not be disappointed.

Heartland Creams’ ECGR-loving breeders, Abby and Rosemarie, are exceptional. I could tell from my initial phone conversation with Abby, that this was her heart’s work. From the moment I decided to adopt from Heartland, I was convinced I’d made the right choice. Abby included me in every moment of my new puppy’s life, from video of the actual birth, through every precious moment of her actual birth through first 8 weeks of life. All of my puppy’s first: eyes opening, ears opening, first step, first little bark, every learning strategy, every scheduled worming and initial 6-week vaccine and ID chip insertion. Adorable candid moments, as well as thoughtfully planned educational videos. The unfortunate birth circumstances surrounding my puppy’s mother’s delivery resulted in mine being the only surviving pup - a singleton. Abby worked tirelessly with her to overcome what could have been behavioral challenges many singleton puppies exhibit, beginning life with no litter mates to bond with and learn from. As a result of Abby’s expert interventions, my little baby, Breeze (Breezy), has turned out to be a happy, loving, smart, cuddly, spunky, perfect little ball of angel fluff. I promise you will not regret adopting from Heartland! Family for life!

We love Heartland Creams! Abby was great to work with. So thorough when it comes to caring for her puppies and ensuring that they get the best start in life. We received lots of updates - pictures and videos - throughout the life of our puppy before she came home. We are loving our puppy and will be back if we ever decide to get another golden retriever!
