Great Pyrenees Companion & Therapy Dogs

I adopted my Ray in May 2023 and it was the best thing to happen to my little family! Although not sure he's entirely a dog, sometimes he seems more billy goat when he climbs on the furniture. Either way, I love him with all my heart ❤️ He's my gentle giant and I wouldn’t trade him for the world so THANK YOU TGPR!!

You can email them all day every day and you won't get a response. I literally had to message them on FACEBOOK after 2 of my emails to them were ignored to get an immediate reply. They also said in the facebook reply that they did receive my emails. They CHOSE to ignore them. The lack of communication is horrendous. The first Pyr we adopted was a 7 year old blind boy. We only had him 3 1/2 weeks before hemangiosarcoma (the silent killer) took him. But he was such a smart awesome boy. The rescue offered to return or fee or let us take another dog. We took Sir Moose, another 7 year old. TGPR is a great organization to rescue through. I have fostered for them and can speak to how thorough the fostering process is. They truly care about the pups they are rescuing and go above and beyond to make sure they are safe and continuously check in. Great organization, great people and even better pups. TGPR is an absolutely amazing organization. I was lucky enough to adopt from them two years ago. All of their board members, volunteers, and fosters care so deeply for all the pups they take into their program. Our pup’s foster is still in touch with us and loves receiving updates on his progress. Their adoption process is seamless yet thorough, ensuring the best forever home for each and every pup.
