Strengths

Our Goal is to produce a solid dog with a good temperament, sound in mind and body. We have dogs that are used for Therapy, Schutzhund, Police Service, Bomb detection, Narcotics detection, Search and Rescue, Security and Personal Protection. But on the other hand my dogs can also be the best companion/family dog that you can find. Dogs with good solid nerves and temperament make great family dogs. Our dogs are actively trained in the sport of Schutzhund. All of my puppies are AKC registered and we normally have the papers ready when the puppies leave. We have about thirty years of experience in breeding German Shepherds. We train with our local club, Coastal Carolina Schutzhund Club. We train all of our dogs that we keep for breeding. The only dogs that we buy anymore are females from solid European working lines so that we can get the bloodlines that we want. We have dogs from our kennel that are doing serious police, Search and Rescue, narcotics detection and bomb detection work from the east coast to Arizona. An example of the working drive in our dogs is in Tennessee; Colt vom Haus Baysden owned by my good friend Tony Horseman was selected for bomb detection work by the Palm Beach Florida and Martin County Sheriff's Dept. and is now a certified bomb detection dog. Colt got his certification for bomb work at the age of 16 months. The initial testing was done around the first part of October 2001. He was the only dog out of 86 dogs from assorted breeds that passed the testing and evaluation. Colt is from a Sirk and Karla breeding. Our "A" litter from Amy and Macho was only three puppies, one male and two females. The two females have obtained Schutzhund titles, Alli is SchH III and the male below became a drug dog in Florida.
