German Shepherd Puppies NC

We were recommended to Sandy from our dog trainer for a reliable, working GSD. I cannot say enough how absolutely perfect our puppy was. Sandy was quick to respond to my messages, and I reserved a puppy and came to visit. He matched us with a puppy based on what we told him we were looking for; I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but we got to visit twice - once with kids and once without. When we brought our boy home in December '25, he took a short time to adjust and his personality quickly came through. We named him Shadow, and he is in training to work as a service dog for my medical diagnoses. Despite being only 8 months old, he is an incredibly calm, alert, and even-tempered dog. Shadow learns extremely quickly, and assimilated well into my household with five other pets and three boys under ten. He is still a puppy, but you would never know it except for how much energy he has to play! He is wonderful, cuddly, and enormous, and we absolutely love and adore our sweet boy. We couldn't be happier, and when I eventually get another dog (we have three at the moment!) I will for sure be going back to Sandy for another German Shepherd. Temperament, adjustment, and personality aside he is in perfect physical health, and he is beautiful. Shadow is an absolutely stunning example of a GSD. His ears stood up almost immediately at four months without any of the adorable middle phases. He is well-built and in amazing shape, and growing into a gorgeous boy. I couldn't be more thrilled with our dog and our experience with Sandy and his puppies. I recommend him to everyone who asks about my puppy!

I have interacted / engaged with several breeders across NC, SC, and VA. Sandy here is the most genuine and helpful breeder I had came across. He takes pride in what he does, and cares very much for his dogs and puppies, to include caring about where his puppies will potentially be homed. Any questions we’ve had, he is transparent, knowledgeable, and helpful. We have had our puppy for a month now, and the progress he has made is incredible! Kaiser is excellent with babies, kids, other dogs, and people, while still being very alert and naturally protective. He reads energy from people very well, is incredibly intelligent, and super playful. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fitting dog to our family, and are so thankful to Sandy!

This breeder is amazing. Very nice man that takes great care of his dogs. Has been around german shepherd his hole life and truly understands how to take care of them. I got a puppy from him to train as a service dog and he is doing incredibly well. He is only 11 weeks old and doing tasks that are not normally learned until atleast 6 months. I am retired/disabled veteran, I served for 21 years as and retired as a 1SG, so seeing a very disciplined at such a young age I am just so excited to sew all his potential. I will definitely recommend this breeder to anyone I know!

We bought our puppy in December 2024. He claims they’re well socialized and have a health guarantee. We are just over one year in and have spent over $7,000 in vet bills. Our dog has allergies, cranial mandibular osteopathy, a cryptorchid (testical that didn’t drop) and a blood clotting disorder. As I type this we are dealing with repeated bleeding from his $2,600 neutering. Our vet mentioned this guy shouldn’t be breeding. When we first noticed his allergies, this breeder aggressively denied anything wrong with the bloodline. His health guarantee really means you can bring your dog back and “exchange it” if it has life altering illnesses but we can assume what will happen once your dog you’ve grown to love is “exchanged”. He also claimed he sent the AKC paperwork but it never arrived. He advertises “well socialized” but this puppy needed so much work to overcome his social anxiety. He was afraid of every human and luckily I had experience from my last GSD. This guy was not pleasant to work with, not helpful, and the bloodline has genetic shortfalls. We love our dog and thankfully we have insurance but it is vet bills after vet bill. Do yourself a favor and find another breeder.

My husband and I flew in from Houston, TX to pick up Alpha. Sandy was amazing, he had FaceTime us to see the puppy and was very communicative. People LOVE our puppy, he is 6 months old now and we are so grateful for him and Sandy. Alpha gets so many compliments, his hair is beautiful and he is so smart!!!
