First State Animal Center and SPCA

Absolutely wonderful, kind, and caring people! We recently got our second rescue from FSAC. I am so grateful for the folks at the shelter for their help and support in this process. This boy is such a love! Thank you FSAC!

My cat was ill. Was able to get an appointment the next day. The vet was patient, gentle, explained everything and the prices were reasonable. He is all better now 😀

We were very pleased with the staff and cleanliness at First State Animal Center in Camden. Although we had never heard of about it before, itge name&address popped up on a WAZE search. So happy to meet our newest family member that day,a 6 yr.old mixed chihuahua terrier, originally sent to DE from NC. I think it was our lucky day.. Freddie had been their office mascot. Girls in office were sad to see him go. Very reasonable adoption fee and a bag of treats, supplies and dogfood to get started. There is a veterinary clinic next door staffed by 3 vets for affordable care of your animals. We would highly recommend this animal shelter for adopting your next pet! ❤️

We took our 9 month old female solid black cat Puddin here, and got her fixed. They were absolutely LOVELY!! My son was so nervous to leave his cat but everyone was so kind! They took great care of our girl! We highly recommend!

I always go to the clinic next door and they are great. I have a VERY small dog! And they take such great care of her. She's usually a little sus about vets. But she loves when the ladies come and get her. I recently had to get her teeth removed bc she's old and they did a great job! The ladies up front were VERY clear on the aftercare and the specifics of the meds. I will always pick this place to take my animals.
