The puppy we purchased was very socialized and eager to be around people. He is friendly, lovable,and loves to snuggle and give kisses. Sheila is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. The facilities in her home were clean and organized. I would purchase from her again.

Sheila takes excellent care of her dogs and they are very well socialized. This is extremely important to me. We are very pleased with the puppy we purchased from her and can't wait for our other puppy to grow up a bit more so we can return to pick her up. I definitely recommend her!

My elderly parents bought an adult dog (retired breeder) from Emerson Hill. When my parents took her to be spayed, they found out that she was severly ridden with parasites. She also has had no socialization. After months of being in at their home, the dog has progressed only enough to leave her bed and explore the adjacent room. My parents have to carry her to their bedroom suite at night because the dog has still not gained the courage to walk up a flight of stairs. We requested that the breeder volunteer to at least pay for her parasite treatment expenses but got no response. I don't recommend supporting this breeder.

Great experience with Shiela. Her babies are very well cared for and all parents are on site. We have an adorable and super smart 13 week old male who has been a great addition to our family. Highly recommend.

Meet the Breeder
First and foremost, they are our loyal companions and friends. Here at the home of Emerson Hill's Shelties we strive to improve the breed producing healthy, intelligent dogs with sound conformation. Not only that but gaining wonderful companions while doing so. All of our dogs are AKC registered and we breed selectively to produce these qualties and keep within the AKC standards of this beautiful breed . All of our dogs have the proper genetic testing before breeding. When we have available puppies, we strive to match puppies to the appropriate families. Then they stay here for at least 8 weeks of age. They are socialized with my grandchildren, other dogs and cats while being spoiled. After they have their first vaccination and are checked out by our veterinarian , you can come and meet your puppy. We are glad to send pictures and videos to the chosen families until then. It's a requirement we've chosen to adopt here to protect our puppies from illness and disease as much as we can. Our puppies come with age appropriate vaccinations and proper wormings, as well as genetic guarantee. Sold on spay /neuter contract only. We do not ship!
