This review pertains to Eagleridge under the current ownership and management of Jen Francis, not the previous owner who I certainly cannot comment on or rate since I never met nor had dealings with. My experience with Eagleridge, Jen Francis and her staff been nothing short of outstanding. There is a reason they are rated as one of the top Golden Retriever breeders in the state of Florida and also the US for 2023 by independent reviewers – because they have earned it. When I did my research prior to purchasing a beautiful healthy puppy, Eagleridge kept popping up on every list I made. Working with Jen and her staff has been a dream. Her approach and understanding of top-quality breeding practices should be a standard for all breeders. Jen's breeding pairs are DNA-tested, OFA certified and carefully chosen to pass on only the best genes to their pups. This is one of the reasons I chose Eagleridge. It’s more than absolutely gorgeous puppies, they are puppies that will have the best start in life. My pup stayed for the training program too, which was an all-around great decision. I adopted my second Golden Retriever from Eagleridge last month, and my experience with Jen and her team was outstanding. This was my first time working with Jen, and her deep knowledge and genuine care for Golden Retrievers are evident. She was incredibly responsive to all of my questions and emails, and took the time to thoroughly go over all the details on how to care for my new puppy, Honey, when we picked her up. The binder she provides is an invaluable resource, and it’s clear she knows her stuff. I highly recommend Eagleridge to everyone I know who is looking for a Golden – they are truly the best of the best. I can’t say enough good things about Eagleridge Goldens. My partner and I were extremely selective and did a mountain of research before choosing a breeder, and I’m glad we did - Jen and her team went above and beyond the typical scope of service to match us with our dream puppy. We were very selective and had a lot of questions and requests that I’m sure drove them crazy at times, but it never showed. Through it all, Jen was always patient, informative and extremely responsive whenever we’d reach out. As for the dogs themselves, Eagleridge has some of the most beautiful Goldens I’ve ever seen - it’s no surprise that they’re consistently getting selected to do movies and commercials, and be featured crew members on Royal Caribbean’s biggest ships. The puppies are no different - our girl is smart, well-tempered, and picked up house training *extremely* quickly. Our friends and family, as well as strangers when we’ve taken her out, have all made remarks about what a perfect puppy she is. We are completely smitten by her and couldn’t be happier with the entire process. We really appreciated being able to watch the litter anytime, 24/7 on their puppy cam, and to be able to visit the pups and meet mom and dad - such an incredible and involved process from the very beginning that had us feeling like we’d been linked with our puppy since day 1. The training program was also an immense help. Although we elected to take her home 4 weeks early, her trainer spent some extra time with her in that shortened time period to make sure she was coming home with a solid training foundation, and it’s made our lives exponentially easier because of it. If you’re looking at bringing home a Golden puppy, the simple fact of the matter is that you’re not going to beat Eagleridge. We looked at breeders as far away as Idaho and Salt Lake City, and in our opinion none of them came close. We’re so happy with our decision to choose them, and over the moon with our beautiful puppy!
