The best experience I have ever had welcoming a new fur baby into the family! Sarah is absolutely wonderful. She updates you frequently with pictures and is available for any questions you may have. Dixie has been a wonderful addition to our family. We have had such a great experience we will be getting another puppy from Dirt Road Aussies this November. We are so excited because we know the quality and care Sarah puts in. If you are looking for a friendly, well tempered, and loving dog this is the place for you!

I HIGHLY recommend Dirt Road Aussies if you are looking to add a new member to your family. I know first-hand that Sarah and her family love their pups. From the time they’re born to the time they go to their forever homes these pups are given love and attention not only by Sarah but by her young children too! It has been 10 years since I’ve been a pet owner. I have to say my pup is now four months old and she is just precious. She has the sweetest personality and is extremely smart.

Meet the Breeder
It all started back in 2016, after nearly a year of research, countless hours of searching, and even a trip to Oklahoma. That’s when Ruger came into our lives. He wasn’t just a dog; he quickly became a cherished member of our family. In 2017, we thought it would be nice to give him a companion, so along came Whiskey. The moment they met, it was as if they’d always known each other. They became inseparable. At first, we had no plans to breed. We’d even scheduled an appointment to have Whiskey spayed. But, as often happens, nature had other ideas, and it was too late to stop it. Before we knew it, Whiskey was expecting. As I reached out to find forever homes for the puppies, I couldn’t help but remember what it was like searching for Ruger. I discovered so many loving families in the same position I’d been in—wanting an Australian Shepherd but finding it nearly impossible to find one at an affordable price, without the hefty “show dog” cost, and still maintaining the breed’s intelligence and unique characteristics. For us, though, these dogs are family first. We don’t lock them away for weeks, forcing them to breed. If they want to, they do. If it doesn’t happen, then that’s okay too. Our priority is their happiness and well-being, always.
