Devin's Purple Poodles

I brought home my small standard poodle, Bolito, at 8 weeks old in mid-April 2026—I even flew from Washington state to pick him up—and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Devin. Devin is an excellent communicator. She consistently shared updates with photos and videos, responded quickly and clearly to all my questions, and was always warm and approachable—I never felt like I was asking anything “dumb.” She’s also a responsible and ethical breeder. Devin was transparent about health and genetic testing, started early potty and crate training, and raised the puppies in an enriched environment with a variety of toys, textures, and sounds. Her temperament testing was incredibly helpful in guiding our decision. What stood out most is how well that foundation carried over once we got home. Within days, Bolito was confident, curious, and adaptable despite the big transition. On his second day home—at just 8 weeks old—he was already playing fetch and bringing a rolling disc back to me. When I set up his crate with the blanket and lamb chop Devin provided, he walked right in and fell asleep. By around 9.5–10 weeks, he had already learned basic commands like sit, down, stay, and crate. He’s easygoing, settles well in his playpen, and is already showing natural behaviors like heeling and checking in with me on walks. It’s clear Devin puts a lot of care and intention into raising her puppies. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a well-bred, thoughtfully raised dog.

I found Devin about a year before I was actually ready for a puppy… I *thought* I wanted a puppy when I first reached out to her, and I was set on a BIG brindle poodle! She actually had a puppy that fit my criteria, and could have easily sold me on what I thought I wanted… even though he was a wonderful puppy in every way, he would not have been a good fit for my family. Several months went by and I reached out again about her upcoming litter ‘luck of the Irish’ and we agreed that this pairing would probably have a puppy perfect for my family. In the 8 weeks that followed while I waited for my puppy to be ready to come home, I tagged along with Devin to all the different dog activities she participates in… and I found out I wanted a lot more than ‘just a pet’. I am now showing my dog in conformation, we have started foundations agility, and are also doing barn hunt! Devin raises her puppies to extraordinary criteria, and all of her efforts help create the most versatile, amazing dogs! Barry is the perfect fit for me (and my family) and it’s all because of Devin and her dedication to this already wonderful breed!

We got Fiona from the Luck of the Irish litter and can't say enough great things about Devin and her puppies! I have a lot of experience with raising poodles puppies and Fiona has been by far the easiest puppy I've had! Devin takes time to socialize the puppies quite extensively and also gets them acclimated to being handled and groomed. Fiona is a confident and well socialized puppy. I would definitely recommend Devin as a breeder. The work and effort that she puts into her breeding program is evident and the new owners really benefit from all of Devin's work.

I was looking for a companion for my older dog and I knew that I wanted a poodle. I contacted Devin and told her I was looking for an adult as my dog is older and I didn’t want to bring a puppy in with him. She told me I wouldn’t have sold you a puppy anyway with a very senior dog at home. That was the exact moment I knew I found the best breeder ever that truly wants the best for her doggies and clients! Iris is everything I hoped she’d be. Just as Devin said. Sweet, gentle, smart, and confident. Doesn’t get any better than Devin! We also traveled to visit with Iris before bringing her home. Highly recommend!

I consider myself a true dog lover, but I am nothing in comparison to Devin! She has such patience and love for all of her dogs and genuinely wants each of her puppies to go to the home with the "right fit". Because of her detailed puppy rearing and exposure to various things at various ages, and the amount of time she spends with them, she knows their personalities and what they will need in their furever homes and then matches that to people looking for a pup. She goes to all lengths to ensure her breeding adults are top quality, including health and temperament testing. Not only that, but she keeps her dogs actively involved in activities that they love, like Fast Cat, Barn Hunt etc. Devin's devotion to the Standard Poodle breed and her dogs/pups is outstanding!
