Dawson Creek Australian Labradoodles

I would recommend anyone to get a fur baby from Brenda Dawson. My Grandmother fell in love with my baby, Ariel, and bought her half sister, and my sister loved my baby so much that she bought her half niece. While they all have different personalities, like people, they all have been bred for excellence. Regarding my dog, Ariel; she was very easy to potty train and obedience train. She doesn’t stray far and likes to stay with her family. She loves people in general and all animals: cats, other dogs, birds, etc… She has a big heart and kind spirit. She is very adventurous, yet calm. She does not bark often, but we have heard her. She s content on most days. She loves traveling, the lake, all water sports (the dog: tubes, rides in a boat, on jet ski, wake surfs), hikes, etc… she had a blast in Gatlinburg and at the beach too. She also loves dressing up and being pampered. She enjoys getting her nails dremel, being brushed, her teeth brushed, bathes, etc… she is every groomers dream dog. She is off of Ruby and Rowan, and is considered a caramel red (because her nose is not black), I would say she has a combination coat, but she does not SHED at all! Not even a little bit and we all love it! We have yellow lab too and he sheds nonstop. She is perfect, a once in a lifetime type dog, in my opinion. She also has never CHEWED up anything in our house! She doesn’t get into to anything either and won’t even take food off your plate. I know it sounds to good to be true, but this is who she is, and why we LOVE her so much! We honestly cannot imagine life without her.

Brenda is the most compassionate and caring person! We found Dawson creek labradoodles on Instagram and got the most precious gift Darby! She became a part of our family and stole our hearts! We lost her unexpectedly this past December and Brenda graciously gave us Winnie to help us get through our grief from losing Darby. I highly recommend Brenda for anyone looking to purchase a labradoodle. She tries her hardest to breed excellent companion puppies with loving temperaments. We have purchased three of her dogs between my eldest daughter, my youngest daughter, and my mother in law. My eldest daughter’s dog is Ariel, she is going on 3. My mother in law’s dog is Pumpkin, she is 2. My youngest daughter’s dog is Rapunzel and she only 3 months old. All three dogs are different. Ariel is 22lbs with a combination coat, Pumpkin is 14lbs with more of a wool coat, and Rapunzel is still a baby and currently has a fleece coat. Ariel never chewed or got into anything! Pumpkin was chewer, but never tore up her toys and still doesn’t. Rapunzel is also a chewer, but we are providing her with enough items that she’s not destroying anything in our home. Ariel and Pumpkin were both easy to potty train. Rapunzel is still learning, but has been more challenging with number one. We decided to button train her to go out and that’s really made a difference. She is also learning obedience commands. At present, 3 months old, Rapunzel knows sit, down, and shake. She is being leased trained and we are working on come with a pull cord to help her learn what we are expecting. Ariel and Pumpkin both enjoy being in the house and with family. Rapunzel loves us, but is a little bit more independent. She loves being outside (over an acre fenced in yard) even if we are not outside with her. Ariel rarely barks. I think she feels all her needs are met. Pumpkin and Rapunzel will bark, not to the point they are annoying, but they will use their voices to alert you. Ariel would not kill a fly. Rapunzel has killed two field mice on our property already. Ariel loves laying on her back, being carried like a baby, and treated like a baby. Pumpkin and Rapunzel do not like to be on their backs and carried around. They like tummy rubs on the ground, but that’s the extent of it. Ariel loves playing with other dogs. If we tell her, go play. She will go play. Pumpkin likes other dogs, and people, but does not leave my MIL side-for nothing! Rapunzel has to be reigned in, as she is more independent. As far as Rapunzel goes, she is still young and we are still discovering new personality traits about her each day. She has not been to the lake yet or vacation since we got her recently during winter.

Our girl is getting prettier every day and has the best personality. Any questions I ever have, Brenda doesn’t hesitate to respond. She truly cares and it is evident in the care she gives the puppies while she has them and even after they are gone.

We had a WONDERFUL experience working with Brenda from Dawson Creek Australian Labradoodles and we absolutely adore our puppy Hazel. Brenda took great care to understand our home and family and match us with a puppy with a temperament and personality that would be a great fit for us.
