Dan Su ShihTzu

Dana Strain is a first class breeder. Our little man, Bandit, just turned one and has been an absolute blessing for our family. His temperament is excellent (despite) being a puppy. He is happy and healthy. I would highly recommend DanSu Shih Tzu to anyone looking to add to their family!

Dana is amazing! Her puppies are the sweetest most beautiful babies. I love my baby girl Holly. She is sweet, gentle, kind and intelligent. I could have not gotten a more loving baby anywhere else.

I purchased a 12 week old Shih Tzu in September 2023. My baby girl is perfect! It had been 16 years since I had a puppy. Dana was very helpful and knowledgeable. She has answered all of my questions prior and after delivery of my pup. I immediately could tell she was a Shih Tzu lover as she took so much pride in sharing her championship videos with me. My girl comes from a championship bloodline but that was just a plus because I was simply looking for a pet. Sadie keeps me busy but she also keeps a smile on my face. Thank you Dan Su Shih Tzu. I would highly recommend Dan Su Shih Tzu!

I purchased a female Shih Tzu puppy from Dan Su Shih Tzu last year. She is perfect! Beautiful dog, warm / friendly personality, and very helpful. Dan Su Shih Tzu is an excellent breeder -- they require the puppies to stay with the litter until about 12 weeks, which is fantastic learning for the babies. They also do not allow the puppies outside until you take the babies home. I would highly recommend Dan Su Shih Tzu if you are looking for a family pet. They do breeding the right way!

Dana Gayle Strain has been the absolute finest breeder of Champion Shih-Tzu dogs that I have ever known. I am 63 years old and have had three former Shih-Tzu's over the course of my life, but I have never had as splendid a pup as I have adopted from Ms Strain's home kennel. The dog I have adopted from Ms Strain was chosen by Ms Strain as a great fit for our particular family. What a great fit. We are retired and wanted an affectionate companion dog. Dana Strain delivered. After extensive DNA testing by my private veterinarian I have learned that the puppy i adopted, Sparky Dan Su, is free from all predisposition to common Shih-Tzu maladies and diseases. He is the most splendid dog, now at age 2 that we could ever have. He is regal, healthy, playful and robust and most of all affectionate. I highly recommend Dan Su Shih-Tzu's to anyone who wants a magnificent Shih-Tzu. I live in Mobile AL and that drive to Ms Strain in Madisonville, LA was one of the best long trips I have ever taken.
