5-Star Review for Bryce We had an outstanding experience working with Bryce from start to finish. He was incredibly customer-focused and made us feel like a priority throughout the entire process. Even with all the responsibilities that come with raising and caring for a litter, he consistently sent pictures and updates after the puppies were born, keeping us involved every step of the way. What impressed us most was the time Bryce took to understand our family's needs and help us choose the right puppy. Rather than simply letting us pick a puppy, he provided thoughtful guidance based on temperament and fit, which gave us a lot of confidence in our decision. He also shared valuable training tips and advice that will help set our puppy up for success. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. Bryce was always available to answer questions, responded quickly, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. His transparency and willingness to educate us made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. His facility was clean, well-maintained, and clearly reflects the care he puts into his dogs. It was easy to see that Bryce genuinely loves his dogs and takes great pride in raising healthy, well-socialized puppies. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and caring breeder who truly puts both his dogs and customers first, we highly recommend Bryce. This is my 6th labrador, all from different breeders. I've never had an experience like this. Bryce and Bryan are total professionals. From picking a pup until I brought it home they were always willing to talk and discuss. I was so impressed I took Emi back for a summer of training. I kept in touch with Bryan who was working her all summer. He always got back and sent pictures and videos of her progress weekly. When I picked her up she was following commands, retrieving, marking and had even mastered force fetch. She was right at 9 months then and huntable if the season was here. We got our dog, Tank, from Bryan and Bryce and have been as happy as you could ever expect to be. They do an exceptional job breeding high caliber hunting dogs who are great in the house with the family. He points, is steady, force fetched, runs great double marks, and came out of the womb looking for ducks. He lives for any retrieve and is as sweet as they come. We had our Puppy train with them for only 6 weeks last year and what they did with him was incredible. We are sending Tank back for 3 more months this summer. At all times the guys here have made themselves available to answer my questions, give advice, plan for what I want out of my dog, and assist with medical questions, which is above and beyond their obligation and has saved me at least one vet visit. I could go on, but rather I’ll just tell you that in all of my experiences they have been honest, competent, helpful, accommodating, and to boil it down, they just run a really high quality business. Bryce and Bryan have been wonderful to work with. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, then recommended a litter that fit. As a novice bird hunter, both were patient and not condescending in the slightest. We couldn't be happier with the temperament and drive of the puppy we ended up with. We elected to send Walter back to them for training last summer and again, Bryan and Bryce impressed me. They listened to how I hunt and made recommendations on what we should and should not train with Walter. Walter is now a year and a half old and halfway into his first hunting season. We've been hitting the MN public land hard and Walter is killing it. He's extremely high drive, but stays close and listens well. In the house, we have no concerns allowing him to play with our unpredictable 1 and 2 year old kids. We could not be happier.

I have a 4 year old British red lab from Coteau. She is everything they said she would be and more! I told them what I wanted in a retriever and they suggested a pup from a certain litter that they thought would fit. They were spot on! The retrieving instinct and drive in their dogs is incredible! I will get another pup from Coteau in the future! My wife would get one tomorrow if it were up to her!
