I’m Rachel Anderson, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi enthusiast, exhibitor, and the person behind Cosmere Corgis. My husband and I live in Wisconsin with our two daughters and our corgis — who, let’s be honest, run the place.I have been involved in the dog sport community for years, competing in conformation and a variety of performance events including Rally, Obedience, Trick Dog, Therapy Dog, AKC Fetch, and Scent Work. I am an active member of the Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club and the AKC Fond Du Lac Kennel Club. Competing and working with my dogs keeps me connected to the breed in a way that goes far beyond the whelping box.Why preservation breeding matters to usWhen we breed to the AKC standard we are breeding for temperament, structure, and longevity. Dogs with correct structure move freely and with less effort, making them less prone to injury and more comfortable throughout their lives. We breed to preserve what makes a Pembroke Welsh Corgi distinctly and wonderfully itself — not just in how they look, but in how they think, move, and live alongside their families.Club membership matters to us too. Being an active member of breed clubs means holding ourselves accountable to a code of ethics and staying connected to a community that cares deeply about the future of this breed.How we raise our puppiesOur puppies are raised in our home, woven into our daily life from day one. We follow Puppy Culture protocols with each litter — including early neurological stimulation, aggression prevention, manding, potty training, leash introduction, and more. We believe the effort you put in early shows up for a lifetime.​
