Ever since we lost our dog that we’d had for 15 years, I never dreamed I would own another one. But after a couple years I decided to peruse, and after extensive research stumbled upon Copper Lanes. I was looking for ethical, small breeders who showed a genuine passion for their dogs and puppies and who also raised them on an enriching curriculum and could show me their developments day to day - Allison was just that 😍 As soon as I inquired about one of her upcoming litters, she reached out quickly so we could chat on the phone to get to know each other and make sure we were a great match. I decided to get a mini aussie puppy from her beautiful Nala mama and daddy Mowgli! I was allowed to choose early if I wanted, or I could wait a little to see how their personalities developed, which I really appreciated the options 🥰 we decided on our beautiful Marlowe Mae and Allison was amazing to start calling her her name as early as 5 weeks so when she came home at 8 weeks, she’d already be familiar with her name 🥰 we talked/texted multiple times a week and hopped on a FaceTime to see my baby whenever I wanted (her transparency is amazing)! Marlowe was our 4th dog and she was the EASIEST to raise, she came already with a foundation to potty training and crate training so within that first week home, she knew exactly what was expected of her when it came to those two big things! Marlowe is now a little over a year old and a future mama for my ethical breeding program - she has already been fully health tested and I’m happy to report that she is in TIP TOP health genetically and structurally 🥰🥳 Allison guarantees her puppies health for the first year of their life because she health tests all of her parent dogs which I really value. Marlowe’s temperament was exactly what I was hoping for and Allison did a fantastic job assessing her temperament for me when making sure she was the right fit for our family 🥰 she’s low-medium energy, low prey drive, has amazing touch/sight tolerance (meaning she’s a CUDDLE BUG and if there’s something visually distracting, she comes to me or she just observes instead of reacts), she’s LOYAL and always by my side, she knows how to chill and relax, but also loves her ball time 🥰 we do train our pups from day one and continue for at least a 10-15 minute session everyday, with marlowe being our 4th, we know what works and doesn’t 😉😂 she’s been our easiest to train too. I could honestly go on and on about Marlowe, we just absolutely adore her, she’s perfect in every way and can’t thank Allison enough for her 🥰💕 I so appreciate that she checks in on her often and values keeping a relationship with her puppy families 🥳 I highly recommend her breeding program and would absolutely get another puppy from her 🥰

Allison has great communication and was willing to accommodate our timeline with traveling long distance. We love our girl Luna from Copperlane Puppies! Her temperament and structure are great quality. She is the perfect fit to our family!

I have added 2 fur babies from here and absolutely love them. Beautifully bred miniature poodles. She was very responsive and kind with all of my questions or concerns and genuinely wants the best for her puppies. If you are looking for a responsible reputable breeder, she's your girl. You will get a well tempered puppy that has been exposed to children and other situations. She starts potty training for you and makes the transition so easy. She tests her puppies to make sure they are healthy as well. I would definitely recommend her as a breeder. She's so wonderful to work with and truly loves every single puppy she produces.

What struck me more than anything was the love, care, and expertise the Kendrick family put into raising pups. They love to see photos and follow them in their new families. Will definitely look to Copper Lane when we’re ready for another baby.
