High Hills Havanese

I am blessed to have my little Buddy from High Hills. Buddy is my second Havanese but my first from High Hills. I wouldn’t hesitate to adopt again from Nate. Not only is Buddy the sweetest, most precious little boy, but Nate is also wonderful. The puppies are raised with the family…practically on their kitchen. This is so important in early dog development…exposure to sights and sounds to give them confidence and coping skills. I am not an expert, but I know that a family environment is critical for puppies. Havanese are goofy, affectionate, smart, loyal, stubborn and sassy. My little Buddy is that and then some. A sweeter puppy doesn’t exist! He is now almost 7 months old. How were we a complete family without him? I don’t know. I do know that when we have room for another puppy, I will definitely call Nate. I wouldn’t choose any other breeder than High Hills.

We are so delighted with our High Hills Havanese, Nigel! He has such a big personality and brings us so much joy. The Pelkeys are responsible and caring breeders and Nigel was well socialized and is such a happy, healthy puppy.

Dakota (Emerald from the gem littler) is about 6 months old now and he could not be more loved! We did so much research on breeders and ultimately landed on High Hills. The Pelkey Family is truly so kind, and they care so deeply about their pups. Every time we bring Dakota in public, people are always commenting on how beautiful his coloring is and how calm he is for an Australian Shepherd. He loves to play, but also loves to snuggle and just be a little companion by your side the whole day. Literally every person who meets Dakota falls in love with him. I could not be more thankful for our sweet puppy! Thank you High Hills for such a wonderful blessing!

I brought home my Havanese, Arthur, in April and he has been the best thing to ever happen to our family. He’s pure love and he lives for cuddles. He’s a great example of his breed. It was important to me to have a breeder that does health testing so I appreciate that they make the results available on their website. I’ll be coming back to High Hills in the future!

The Pelkey Breeders of High Hills Farm were great to deal with by phone calls or visits. We loved the videos and pictures we received weekly. We adore our pup Waldo because he is healthy, playful and very loving. Our Miniature Schnauzer mothers him and Waldo loves her. We appreciate being able to visit more than once to pick him out and see all the pups and moms. It is hard to pick one out when they are all so darn cute! Great job Nate and family!
