Hello, California Cockers is truly amazing! Our puppies came potty trained, kennel trained, and already using the doggy door, which made the transition into our home incredibly easy. You can tell that Summer puts a great deal of love, care, and time into raising well-prepared puppies. Birdie and Bogey are wonderful dogs, and we’ve been enjoying them for eight years now. If you’re looking for a responsible breeder who truly goes above and beyond, I highly recommend California Cockers!

I’ve gotten two Cocker Spaniels from Summer since 2017, and she’s been nothing short of amazing. Even from across the country, I trusted her completely—she always kept me in the loop, answered all my (many!) questions, and sent frequent updates and photos as the puppies grew. When I flew out to pick up my pup, her home was clean and beautiful- a perfect place to raise dogs. It’s clear how much love and dedication she puts into her breeding program—every dog is treated like family. Both of ours have been healthy, beautiful, and wonderful in temperament, absolutely exceptional!!

We contacted summer about her puppies in December, and despite the busy holiday, she responded right away! And set up a time to go see availability of puppies asap! Once we got there, we were SOOOOOOOO undecided! And she was incredibly gracious and understanding and let us take all the time we needed to decided on which puppy we wanted! Our sweet Lulu was potty-pad trained, all updated on puppy wellness visits/shots, and ready for love immediately! Our pup is still the most amazing personality! Fantastic temperament! And one of the family! We will Definitely be going to Summer for our next Cocker Spaniel!!

I’m so thankful to have ran across Summer and California Cockers, I got my Winnie girl three years ago and she’s one of the best things in my life, my friends and family are all in love with her! You can tell this family cares so much about their fur babies and I can’t wait to get another one when the time is right - don’t hesitate if you’re thinking about getting a cocker spaniel, especially from Summer! Summer birthed and raised my little Astro boy in a way that no other breeder can compare. She did everything in her power to get his paperwork done so that my sweet boy could get to his forever home in Abu Dhabi. She breeds for temperament and so all her dogs have the loveliest nature and I was also able to clear his health through Embark before I picked him up. I can’t thank Summer enough for all the effort shes put in and I am forever grateful for my Astro.
