Caladesi Portuguese Water Dogs

We had a wonderful experience with Caladesi Portuguese Water Dogs! Lisa is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and clearly cares deeply about placing each puppy in the right home. Our puppy is almost one year old now, perfectly healthy, and is exactly what we hoped for. She's smart, loyal, funny, and full of personality. We received plenty of helpful guidance on training, grooming, food recommendations, and what to expect as she grew. Even after bringing her home, Lisa has continued to be available whenever we have reached out with questions. It is clear these dogs are loved. I highly recommend Caladesi if you're looking to add a PWD to your family.

Lisa is awesome and the puppy process is super thorough which we appreciated. When thinking about adding a puppy to our family, finding an ethically bred dog was very important to us. I’d recommend to a friend and would definitely get our boy a sibling from them eventually as well. Lisa takes extreme pride in her puppies and still checks in on our boy regularly. She is highly certified and it is obvious from the very beginning. Our puppy Terry is awesome and the sweetest, most perfect match for our family. We are grateful to have found Caladesi PWDs and to be a part of the Caladesi PWD family!

My porties from Caladesi are the best! The mostly black dog is “Luna” and she is 8; the mostly white dog is “Molly” and she is 5. We got them from Caladesi when they were eight weeks old, to the day. Lisa is the most competent and caring breeder - she has a huge yard and her whole porch is dedicated to each litter of puppies. These pups are well trained - fully potty trained and socialized before adoption - and Lisa’s advice regarding their characters and personalities is spot on! The only drawback with these dogs is how smart they are. Sometimes I realize they’re training me! Whose house is it? 🤭 And “water dog” is fully deserved, both love the pool when I let them in it (or forget to keep eyes on them when they’re in the lanai). These dogs are the best we’ve ever had, so loving, smart, and beautiful. They don’t shed either. Lisa provides pedigree information, and requires careful attention to the pups’ needs. It’s clear Lisa breeds these dogs out of love for the breed, care for the puppies, and carefully screens anyone who would like to adopt. I highly recommend Portugese Water Dogs in general, and Caladesi Portugese Water Dogs in particular!

No words can describe how much we Love and adore our two Portuguese water dogs we were fortunate enough to get from Lisa. Both of them are so loving and bring so much joy to our family. Wonderful temperament and very smart. Most importantly, Lisa is always there to answer any questions or just to share stories and experiences with as they grow and immature. If I could get five more pups from her, I would do it in a heartbeat, but I think my spouse would kill me.....☺️

Our experience with Caladesi was top notch. Lisa cares deeply about her dogs, the PWD breed and the placement of her puppies. This is obvious when you meet her. She is very thorough in explaining the litter’s lineage and health history. She spent time with us sharing best practices for grooming, diet, health care and training.
