We are completely thrilled with our pup. Miss Jan was very accommodating and very open. Her facility may not be state of the art but the dogs are well cared for and healthy. She called numerous times after we brought our puppy home to see how she was doing, this was a nice touch. Thank Jan!

I stumbled upon this outfit on Puppy Finder. I receive notifications for Aussies as I have been on the hunt since last August. The picture and notes for the precious Australian Shepherd were perfect. I reached out with gusto- emailing and texting so that I could meet the precious puppy face on the post while traveling to my grandfather's funeral nearby. Immediately, I had a difficult time reaching the owners. Since I was traveling near the location for a funeral, I was on a tight leash with time and availability and responded with a time I would be coming to the location. No one answered the door. We returned three times in an hour span. I was not able to view the dog or facility as I had scheduled or requested. In an email message, I was told one price and even told, "come on down and we can make a deal" by one owner. After my boyfriend drove back to Albertville to finally see the pup, he again confirmed the price with one of the owners. He also noted the poor conditions of the home and facilities (or lack thereof) for the dogs. The next morning, again, we had set a time to pick up the dog as we had to return home and had a limited schedule. It took several minutes for anyone to come to the door and same owner looked like she had no idea we were coming. After I made the payment on PayPal standing in the driveway, the owner told me that that was not the agreed upon price. The price was sent via email and then confirmed the afternoon before. She told me that was not the price for her and she would not accept anything less after all of our efforts in the last 24 hours. It felt like a scam in every way. Frustrated and disturbed by what all we saw and the entire experience, I wanted to take the pup as far away from there as possible. The facility is less than sub-par. There is no facility really. Some of the dogs have clear health issues and show aggression towards strangers and the other dogs. In particular, my little pup. She is precious and sweet in every way, but is swarming in fleas and bites all over her body. I am hopeful the Vet does not reveal any other issues and if so, I will be following up on this review. It is also very clear that the pup was not crate or potty trained as noted. I am sure most people would have driven by and never stopped after seeing what we saw. I wanted to give these people the benefit of the doubt and I really wanted to find a good fit for our family and this pup just looked precious and had a wonderful demeanor. I am thankful to have our pup but disappointed in every way with my experience with Bunkhouse Aussies. Unprofessional and fictitious representation. Perhaps the owners need to just communicate better- with each other and especially prospective buyers. And for God's sake- treat the fleas.

Love the place. People are great and easy to deal with. The dogs are amazing and have wonderful bloodlines. My black tri male is my best friend. And has turned out to be a wonderful fur child.
